Wonderful experience in a stunning tea estate! The gardens are exquisite and we enjoyed our time and the view from the pool. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Ayesh was incredibly helpful coordinating our hike on the Pekoe trail. Taylor’s Hill offers a unique stay in a charming 200-year old colonial home. Perfect for travelers who would rather trade in some modern amenities (no AirCon or TVs in rooms), for authentic colonial charm with personalized service.

Rooms🏩 – All their rooms are luxurious. It is easy to choose the most comfortable rooms with our expectations. All rooms are very fresh, clean and tidy.

Food and Beverage🥙 – Talking about the food, their service is top notch. Their chef was very flexible to our requests and the taste and presentation of the food is very interesting.

Activities - Separate facilities are provided to engage in various activities from toddlers to adults. There are also two separate outdoor sports courts especially for playing badminton and tennis.🏸🎾 A separate indoor area is reserved for small children to play and engage in other activities.👶🏻👧🏻🧒🏻 Apart from this, opportunities are also provided for cycling.🚵‍♀

This location was a very calm and quiet location with colorful luxurious rooms. Rooms are totally different from one to another. They have used all antique materials even on washrooms. Unfortunately we stayed only on 1 night but recommended to stay 2 nights. Food service was fabulous and served very nicely.

It would be great if owners can look into swimming pool area as there are few tiles already got damaged and it creates sharp edges due to damaged tiles.

Went there for my pre-shoot. Amazing place. The staff was very friendly and helped us fulfill our requirement. The look and feel was amazing and climate there was cool even around 11 AM.

The ambience of a rustic Colonial Bungalow is felt very well here and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay a wonderful one.
The days we spent there were rainy but that didn't stop the staff from providing us a most pleasurable stay.
The access roads were not up to par and you will come across some difficulty if you have a low rise vehicle.
We wanted to visit Loolkandura estate and the hotel provided us with a tuk tuk without hesitation.
A brilliant stay all in all.

We had a wonderful stay and a unique experience at Taylors Hills Boutique Hotel which is surrounded by picturesque mountains and tea plantations. The staff was friendly and the food was great! We did many activities such as cycling, swimming etc., and also played badminton, tennis and snooker. It is also a lovely place to just sit back and relax. Definitely will visit there again soon.

Visited this fabulous colonial bungalow with a group of friends for the weekend and ended up staying an extra day! The scenery around the bungalow was surreal. Coming through the beautiful driveway to the property and seeing the beauty of the place blows your breath away. Equipped with all amenities including a tv lounge, a snooker table and a lovely pool makes sure you have the perfect getaway! Rooms were spacious and extremely clean. Every mile of the drive to the property was without a doubt worth it! throughout the stay we were greeted with exceptional hospitality and lovely food by the team at Taylor’s hill. Make sure you try out the Sri Lanka cuisine! Sure to come back for more!!!!

Definitely visiting again. This is belong to a very respectable family in Sri Lanka and it’s well maintained as it is a very old place it’s really comfortable and clean.. Really tasty food and very friendly staff… five stars..

Where do I begin...... It is a beautiful estate bungalow from colonial days which has been renovated to facilitate modern living conditions whilst preserving the old world charm. This is situated in the region where the first tea plantation was started by James Taylor. The Weather is fantastic whether its rain or sunshine. we had both. We occupied all 5 rooms and the staff looked after are requirements very well (We may have been demanding). There is a plenty to do within the premises itself such as Tennis, croquet, Badminton, Snooker ,the beautiful Pool and the Spa. There is a tastefully manicured Sprawling Garden.. to stroll around and enough routes for 5-7 km treks. Ideal for a family get away too. The staff was excellent... they wore a smile right through the day...Yes will visit again .
PS - The most scenic route to this location would be via the Hantana Estate.

We visited the place recently and have to say that it was a superb location. The whole atmosphere was enchanting and the staff was very helpful and kept the place in very good condition. Lovely little boutique hotel off the beaten track. It was difficult to convince our driver to take us here because he couldn't find anyone he knew that had been there. When we finally arrived, we learned it was a day that they were closed to the public and we were turned away. Luckily the owner/manager saw us when we were leaving and she had them set a table for us in the beautiful garden. There we were served a lovely lunch by the very kind and attentive staff.

A lovely boutique hotel which used to be a tea planter's bungalow. Cozy rooms. Friendly staff and service. Road is not a very comfortable for a car but manageable.

Colonial style House 6 rooms great service. Perfect place to switch off, read, surrounded by the lush green tea hills, bit of tennis badminton or crocket.

Had the most fabulous time here..loved the place. The colonial bungalow with a touch of modern luxury is outstanding. Will definitely go back again when in need of a break.
