Quick service. Make sure to keep your vehicle's original certificate of registration in hand when obtaining the eco test. They accept cash only, so call ahead and check the rate. Motor cars LKR 1100 as of July 2022. Clean your air filter before the test and make sure the engine temperature is at operating temperature. Quite often you will fail the test if the engine is cold.

As smoke emission test of my Montero was due, visited this place. I was on the Diesel lane and there were no queue at all and I was able get the service as soon as I entered the place. There was a queue of about 5 vehicles on the Petrol lane.

Process was very quick. Need to have the vehicle registration. Officer initiated with the submission of vehicle registration and I need to do the payment. While paying, officer started testing and he completed the testing in 5 minutes. Immediately then the printed test results were issued and job done in 15 minutes in total.
