M. D. Gunasena - The Knowledge Store (Gampaha)

So far my favourite bookshop in the area. They have really good English books collection and the main highlight is that they are very reasonably priced. Couple of hundred rupees lesser than other bookshops in the town.
I always call them before going there to check the availability of the book that I'm looking for. The staff is friendly, attentive and quick.
There are not enough parking here. So if you are driving here, you have to park in the public car park in town(which I do not recommend) or in the surrounding streets(YMBA road is a very good option). If your time is good, you will be able to park in the Mangala road itself.

They have a vast variety of books as well as stationery items at reasonable price. I am a slow reader but I used to go there once a month, they have update books.... place is very clam n staff also very friendly...

I had to purchase a couple of medicine books. The prices are reasonable and customer service is also at its best. 👌👌👌

So many New English books and excellent customer service. Their loyalty programme is probably one of the best.

Has a nice collection of books and lot of stationery items as well. I went to buy a book which was out of stock at the time, however I placed an order with them and they called me back within a week saying that they have brought the book. That was a good service.

All your stationery items under one roof as well as tons of books to choose from. Staff is energetic and customer friendly.. You can shop at leisure and least disturbed

Good customer care has this shop.
We can buy many type of books. Novels School syllabus books , and Sinhala , Tamil, & English language books. And some magazines etc.
Also this shop has home delivery system near the area.

Service is very good..went looking for a book they did not have. Two people helped me and the owner gave me a card to send any books that I may want later.

Polite and helpful staff... variety of educational related books...stationaries.... also other readings... The only issue is lack of parking... literally you have to park by the main road...
