Banking experience with BOC was a bit of a mixed bag.

Good:
The personal Banking Officer, Ms. Erandi from the Ganemulla branch was courteous, prompt, and efficient.

Bad:
The bank has prehistoric and aged banking systems. Just to complete a bank transfer, I had to courier physical documents over to the branch and had to communicate back and forth over few weeks. With any other bank with a decent online banking system, this would not have taken more than a couple of minutes.

Overall kudos to the employees of the bank and big fat no to the bank. In the future, I would be looking for a different bank with better systems in place to carry out my banking needs.

Service can be improved.
Entrance and ATM is not Accessible friendly. There is no wheelchair ramp.

The woman who is the manager ( Short & Dark skin color lady ) does not know how to TREAT customers and behaves as a "VATTIAMMA". She act like මිනිස්සු පිනට සල්ලි ගන්න ආවා වගේ. Based on her behavior, it can be said that she was not raised in a decent environment. Managers like her bring a bad name to Bank of Ceylon. There are no issues with the staff, but the current manager has 0% quality. She lacks the necessary qualities to be an effective manager. Please take necessary action against such people. People like her will ruin the image of BOC. Very disappointed !!
