Sweet Surrender

Had a chicken fried rice from them. Taste was really good and the portion was also acceptable. It took around 10 - 15 min for them to prepare. Other than that they have a buffet menu also. I have attached the price list with the photos. Place was very clean and calm. There was a parking in-front of the shop which is sufficient for around 4 vehicles.

Recently tried the soup at this food shop, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich, and the ingredients fresh. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff added to the overall great experience. Looking forward to trying more dishes here!

Haven't dined in here. They have good takeaway options. I've only tried their Kottu which was good. They pack those well and very clean place.

Stary with the service it’s really good, staff will help you to select in details. Delicious food, all sweets and savory, and dinner. Sweets, got nice collection to choose. Dinner, combo of roasted paan, one of meat items and coconut sambol is highly recommended. Portions in regular size, if you are eating a lot better buy extra. Price is worth. Dedicated parking for few vehicles and manageable.

Ambience, perfect for casual meet ups, dates, with family/friends with a couple of tables out side as well. Staff, efficient n attentive. Prices definitely worth the money, portion size was enough for 2 n the curry was yummy!!

Sweet Surrender is a place that offers a variety of delicious dishes, and one of my personal favorites is the Roast Paan Beef Curry, Dhal Curry, and Pol Sambola. The combination of flavors in these dishes is absolutely delightful, and they never fail to satisfy my taste buds. The curries are rich and flavorful, with tender beef and perfectly cooked lentils. The Pol Sambola adds a spicy kick that enhances the overall experience.

When it comes to the cakes at Sweet Surrender, I must say that they are truly a treat. The cakes are not only visually appealing but also taste heavenly. Each slice is moist, fluffy, and bursting with flavor. Whether you're a chocolate lover or prefer fruity flavors, Sweet Surrender has something to satisfy every sweet tooth.

However, I must admit that the overall ambiance of Sweet Surrender is rather average. The interior decor lacks a unique touch and fails to create a cozy or inviting atmosphere. It would be great to see some improvements in terms of the ambiance to make dining here a more memorable experience.

Another aspect that falls short is the service. On multiple occasions, I have found the service at Sweet Surrender to be lacking. The staff is not always attentive or friendly, and there have been instances where orders were mixed up or delayed. It is disappointing when the service does not match the quality of the food.

Suggest to offer the Chocolate Milk shake too as present chocolate cookie shake is not quenching the chocolate lover's thirst.

Delicious bakery items and evening specialities like hoppers, kottus are also available. Inhouse dining is also available. The service and guidance of young dynamic Mr. Induwara are highly commendable.

The best fish kottu I have had anywhere in Sri Lanka. Beats some of the restaurants known for kottu. Very flavourful with chunks of fish.
