St. Thomas' Church is a catholic church in the diocese of Kandy. Currently the Blessed Sacrament Fathers are in residence and taking care of the church. There are a number of other churches too under their care which belongs to Matale parish. Holy Mass is offered in English, සිංහල and Tamil every Sunday.

ශාන්ත තෝමස් මුනිඳුන්ට කැප කර තිබෙන මෙම දේවස්ථානය මහනුවර පදවියට අයත් රෝමාණු කතෝලික දේවස්ථානයකි. ඈත අතීතයකට දිව යන මෙම කිතුණු සංඝයේ පරිපාලනය මෙම දේවස්ථානය මූලිකව සිදු වේ. මෙම මීසමට අයත් තවත් බොහෝ ශාඛාවන් තිබේ. ඒවා පරිපාලනය සිදුවන්නේද මෙම දේවස්ථානය යටතේ ය. සෑම ඉරුදිනකම සිංහල දමිළසහ ඉංග්‍රීසි බසින් දිව්‍ය පූජාවන් පැවැත්වේ. දිනපතා දිව්‍ය පූජාවන් ද සතියේ දිනවල පැවැත්වෙයි. දේවස්ථානයේ ප්‍රධාන ලෙස පැවැත්වෙන මංගල්‍යයන් දෙකකි. ඒ, ශාන්ත තෝමස් මුනිඳුන්ට ගෞරවය පිණිස සහ දේව මාතාවන්ට ගෞරවය පිණිස වාර්ෂිකව පැවැත්වෙයි. මීට අමතරව කතෝලික විශ්වාසිකයින් හට වැදගත් වන දිව්‍ය සත්ප්‍රසාද මංගල්‍යය, පාස්කු මංගල්‍යය, නත්තල ආදී අනිකුත් වාර්ෂික මංගල්‍යයන්ද වෙනත් මීසම් වල මෙන් වාර්ෂිකව උත්කර්ෂවත් ලීලාවෙන් පැවැත්වෙන අයුරු දැකිය හැක.
