Chilaw Rest House

Best and safest place to have food and rest in chilaw. Food and all very delicious also they allow BYOB as well.

I loved that Antique looking place and had lunch (rice & curry) which was amazing. Authentic taste. Need to visit again.

We had lunch at the Rest house. The staff was very friendly. The vegetable rice and the French fries are very tasty. The facility is old but beautiful in a way. The beach is only hundred meter away.

Tasty local foods in Chilaw. This was the only place we could find to have lunch. The exterior of the rest house is very old. The authorities should take initiative to refurbish these valuable restaurants which provides excellent food and service at an extremely reasonable price. Rice and curry were super tasty with large portion sizes. Good service.

the beach front chilaw rest house is opened after 2 months.still retain the homely comforts.
we went in for a late lunch at 15.30.develled prawns pork curry with sea food fried rice was so delicious. crab curry is also a must in chilaw but advanced notice is required. we were served by mr pathmasiri a veteran with 26 years service under his belt.
coulnt go the beautiful beach due to late hours
