I applied for a EPF loan from another state bank. Being a citizen in this country I was so sad to know how they treated a customer’s priority. It was not noticed at all. I was helpless after being sent piller to post so many days. Then I got to know that SMIB is also facilitating the EPF loans. I reached Sachintha, credit manager at SMIB Chilaw branch on 17th of January is phone. He was very positive advised me what needs to be done. After sending the file to SMIB they processed my loan within 24 hours. If every SL state employee can match the level of service I obtained from Sachintha and the staff at SMIB Chilaw Sri Lanka can be a wonderful country once again. I take this opportunity to thank the manager at SMIB Chilaw branch for his support through out this process, Sachintha and the staff a big thank you. This thriving customer service I have never experienced before from a state organisation or a state employee in Sri Lanka. Thank you so much
