Kokkuri Lake

登山道が獣道と交差するところが多数。左手に川があり、水音が大きいので心地よいが熊、人、互いに存在感が無いので　ばったり会う危険あり。交差点近くでは、声出しや笛必要。たしか…浅い川越え、2箇所あったような。降雨あとはちょびっと増水。
コックリ湖は　名前がカワイイ💕
しかしその佇まいは、原生林に囲まれて神秘的。ダケカンバのウネウネの白い枝が水面に映る美しさは迫力もあります。

小さな小さな美しい湖。

あと、トイレはありません！

年に1～2回ほど散策しに行きます。

体力にもよりますが片道1～1.5時間ほどです。
勾配がきついところもあるのでハイキング的な軽い気持ちでは行かないほうがよいです。

途中、数ヶ所小川を徒渉するので登山靴があればベストです。
夏にはアブが多い場所なので虫対策や手袋など用意は必要。

湖の外周を散策するのであれば+20～30分です。

静かなニセコ山系の湖です🍁

Path hasn’t been cut back for 5 years - so lots of fuki have grown over path. Sometimes hard to see where it is going - so inexperienced trail walkers may get lost. Very steep in places. We went in early June and very overgrown with lots of biting insects continually around you - need full body cover and mosquito net hat. If you are very fit, it takes 1hr 15min to go up and 1hr 5min to come down. Best to allow min 4 hour round trip. There is meant to be a path around lake but was even more overgrown so didn’t do it. Did without full body cover and mosquito net hat and were bitten all the way - so one of toughest short climbs I’ve ever done - and I have climbed the Matterhorn.
