Awesome coffee place along Matsushima Bay.

I had the Ethiopian Guji (item A in menu) and their “Bitter” House Blend (item E). Tasting note for Guji beans are: orange, shiso (japanese herbs, the leaf with sharp edges often seen on sashimi platter), and green apple.

Worth noting that the orange smell is particularly distinct upon brewing.

Side note: Owner Eiji is really friendly and knowledgable. Puts in 100% effort in every pour despite having a few customers in the shop. Highly recommend this if you are into pour-over / drip coffee.

EDIT: I went back the next day to try Geisha (item B) and it was awesome! Tasting notes: Lychee, pear, orange, biwa (loquat), jasmine. I could taste the lychee.

Boutique 3rd wave stand with made to order blends and single source pour overs. This is it—the best coffee you’ll find here in town while you enjoy the lovely seaside views, cruises, and delightful oyster meals in town.

Unexpected, amazing find in matsushima. The coffees we ordered were prepared with so much passion & dedication it was great to watch. Espresso tasted wonderful, cappuccino was delicious too. You can get pour over coffees as well. Highly recommended!

A quaint coffee shop with an incredible nice owner! The coffee was absolutely delicious that we wanted to go back and get a bag of coffee beans (but it was already closed by the time we leave Matsushima Bay). The owner was so nice and tried to chat with us even with our very broken Japanese. He gave us a lot of recommendations while we were waiting for the coffee. We couldn't be happier to start off our little adventure in Matsushima Bay with this cup of coffee.

Great coffee. The friendly owner meticulously crafts each drink with care. Very small shop, only enough space to order your coffee but good vibe.

Definitely worth stopping here a true craftsman who takes pride in his craft the coffee was great and really friendly and helpful especially with our bad Japanese.

Very friendly owner, but above all the coffee is top notch. No worries about it being a takeout only store, as you can enjoy the drink across the road with a bay view.

あまりブラックは飲めないですがエチオピアは浅煎り寄りでとても飲みやすく美味でした！！

とても気さくな店主で、あまりコーヒーが得意でない友達にはコーヒートニックを勧めていただき、友達はこれ美味しい‼と言いながら飲んでました。私も少し貰いましたが、トニックウォーターもコーヒーもとても爽やかで、コーヒーの酸味もイヤな酸味ではなく、暑い日でもスッキリと飲むことが出来ます。これならコーヒーがあまり得意でない人でも、コーヒー飲めますね❗

私はブルーベイブレンドを頂きましたが、ちょうど良い濃さで、ビターな風味も私好みで、とても美味しかったです。こちらも暑い日でもスッキリと飲むことが出来ます。

また松島に行った時にはコーヒーを頂こうと思います。お土産で買って行ったコールドブリューのコーヒー、これから淹れるのが楽しみです☕😊

マスターはコーヒーをいれながら、お話してくれますので待ち時間は長く感じません

コーヒーの苦さはあまり感じられなく、酸味とフルーティーさが際立つ一杯に感じました
ほかにも色々ありますので、その場にあったコーヒーを注文してみるのもいいかも👍
満足できる一杯でした☕

2019年7月20日に仙台のコーヒーイベントの常連だった、EIJIコーヒーが満を持してオープンした路面店です。

My recommendation is coffee from Ethiopian beans.

I ordered coffee to-go, so I could drink take a walk around Matsushima Bay and Matsushima area.

一杯一杯を丁寧に淹れることで、豆毎の美味しさが引き立って、こんなに豆によって味が変わるのがと驚くと思います。

個人的な好みは、エチオピア。
酸味のあるコーヒーは苦手だったのですが、EIJIコーヒーのエチオピアを飲んでから、エチオピアの酸味にやみつきになってしまいました。

基本的な営業は土日がメインになりますので、営業日には注意です。

基本的にテイクアウトなので、コーヒーを片手に、松島を散策してみるのもいいですね。
