黒薩摩・次郎太窯

A very sweet grandpa whose wife will help with the packaging shares about the various glazing techniques and experiences. He and his ancestors make rare glazing pieces and since they are all handmade by himself with his son doing apprenticeship currently, his production is small so be sure to buy what you like as the chances of him producing the exact form and glaze is low. His workshop is atop a small hill, where you can drive up if you really have good skills to navigate narrow slopes. We simply parked along the main road next to an abandoned liquor shop and hiked our way up. His kiln is aligned to the axis of sakurajima for the best sunlight exposure. If you like ceramics with such taste, do go take a look. I recommend this place highly.

久しぶりに本物を見ました。とても美しい漆黒の中に青光りする、独特の輝きが印象的でした。今日は珍しい藍色に出会いました。言葉で表現ができないのが残念なくらいの、優しい青です。初めて見た時、フランス映画のあの独特の青を思い浮かべました。今日は出来上がりホヤホヤを購入。素晴らしい出会いに感謝します。

薩摩焼の黒じょかを手に入れるべく訪問しました。
この艶黒は何とも言えない味わいです、真夏でも
湯割りが欲しくなります。

購入目的で来店したのですが、お願いしたらろくろ体験をさせてもらえました
試行錯誤して作品を作られてる事をお話ししてくださってすごく楽しかったです
1ヶ月したら取りに行く約束をしているので今から楽しみです╰(*´︶`*)╯♡
