後口さんの手彫りの工芸品はどれも温かみがあって、ステキです。とても優しく説明してくださり、貴重な「一位の木」のお箸や可愛いコロボックルなど買いました。後口さんは北海道の彫刻家砂澤ビッキさんとも親交があったそうです。

Hand curved figurines and dolls of Ainu culture are available here. The owner/craftsman Mr Atoguchi is very friendly. It was a delightful time to see his work in person.

絶対寄った方が良いです。おじさんはレジェンドです☺一見無口に見えるかも知れませんが、話すととっても優しい方です。
こちらで買えるものは本当に貴重なものです。彫り師の数が年々減っているので、こちらの商品を集めてる方もいらっしゃるそうです。おすすめはコロポックルです。かわいいです。コロポックルのお友だち(真ん中)もかわいいです。
