Went into this store to take a look after a boat ride. Bought some nice Japanese papers for writing and folding, all of us had fun!

Really friendly shop owner, and with good traditional paper products as well. They allow free parking for the boat ride, but do ask us to come back to look at the shop when we finish. I think it is quite fair. No force selling at all.
And to be honest, I will rather use 500Yen to buy some products from the shop, supporting local small businesses that were doing it so tough in Covid, than to spend it in parking.

I just read all negative comments on her shop and i also just back from Geibikei boat. But i felt differently than the others. The owner was approaching us directly while we were parked and guide us that boat is on another way , tell us to rush because boat will start within 10 mins. Parking fee was none but just take a look or shopping at her store when you are back which i totally understand. I believe most of parking lot here need to be paid. I am tourist and understand Japanese a bit. I am Thai and i trust if you are Thai. You totally understand force to shop in Thailand but i didn't feel that way to her. I am willing to support her buying something anyway. Even when billed ,she also discount and give us both gift without charge. I know gift was not expensive.

An old and classic Japanese paper store. Lots of interesting paper made gift product. Worth to visit 👍👍👍

色とりどり、多種多様の和紙が売られています。手芸などを趣味とする方には最高のお店でしょう。紙すき体験もありましたよ。

伝統工芸品の手漉き和紙が豊富で、素晴らしかったです。駐車場に停めたら押し売りされたという被害者面したレビューばかり散見されますが、「買い物したら駐車無料」とお店入口の看板に大きく書かれてますけど。お店の方の対応も別に至って普通でしたし。50円〜販売されている商品も多いですし、何か買うのは最低限のマナーだと思いますが。わざわざ注意されているのにそれでも文句を言う民度の低さ、理解力の無い方が多いみたいで残念です。こういう人達はコンビニでトイレを借りても何も買わずに出るのかな？失礼な人。

とにかくここに車を停めたなら何か買うのは当たり前です。そもそもここは紙すき館の駐車場であって、店の方が厚意で舟下りに行く人にも無料で貸してくれているという大前提を忘れないで。これ以上無意味なレビューが増えませんように。

店内は、美濃落水紙や落水紙むら染め、雲竜紙や典具帖紙、日本画用麻紙など本格的な和紙や、扇面色紙や丸色紙、扇方や丸い形の可愛い色紙掛など、おそらく岩手ではここでしか買えない商品がたくさん。和紙好きの方の参考になれば嬉しいです。

猊鼻溪遊船結束後，在返回猊鼻溪車站的路上，無意間發現這家樸拙可愛的和紙店。裡面展示販售許多日本和紙用品和器皿（可濕布擦拭），樣式充滿山林自然之情，每樣都讓我們好喜歡。以前從來沒有接觸過日本和紙製品，這是第一次看到，真心推薦來此遊船的台灣旅客，也能花點時間駐足停留，好好欣賞一下日本和紙之美。

和紙がたくさん揃ってます。和小物も多いです。焼団子美味しかったです。

冬は石油ストーブ1個しかお店に無いので寒い。
和紙の品揃えはいいと思う。
ちょっとイイ硯がおすすめ
