My wife and I had a great day in the museum, definitely worth a visit don't skip the whale show. Also you can feed whales and dolphins by yourself 300Yen 5 small fishes.

This place exceeded our expectations!!! The best place to spend an afternoon❤ you can get upclose and personal with a lovely beluga and feed him with your hand!!! The history of whale hunting might not be suitable for everyone but the whale and dolphin show will give you a big smile. On top of that, the drive to the museum is scenics too❤

Never have a chance to see a whale show with different kind of whales. The musium itself gives so many information about a whale, I learned so much. If you have kids, you should definitely visit.

I had never seen a whale show which was amazing. It is powerful than dolphin show and worth seeing. We can learn that whaling is an old culture of this town.

I didn't do any research on this place so didn't have a high expectation because I thought it'll be a typical museum in the countryside but turned out to be a lot more than just a museum. They had dolphin shows and whale shows a few times a day. Luckily as I arrived the dolphin show started and an hour later a whale show. The museum covers the history of whaling in Japan and the technology of whaling, as well as exhibiting different stages of whale developments. If you were ever in the area I will recommend this museum!

A very good museum about whales. It provides information of whales including how Japanese caught them in the old days.

Like other water parks and aquariums, there are shows by dolphins and whales. And, you may try to feed them.
