体感型動物園 iZoo

My kids in love with turtles so this zoo was heaven. They can touch and feed them. They love touching different skin of reptile such as snakes, baby alligator etc. mostly it's indoor so it is not bad in rainy weather. If you like reptiles and near by this zoo please spare one hour to enjoy it.

Located in Kawazu Town, Kamo County, Shizuoka Prefecture, iZoo is one of the largest zoos in Japan dedicated to reptiles and amphibians. iZoo cares for a diverse variety of reptiles and amphibians, including an endangered Galapogos giant tortoise, iguanas, lizards, snakes, and frogs.

* Adult - (2000 yen).
* Elementary school student - (800 yen).
* Children | [Under 6] - (Free).

🕒 - Hours:
[9:00 - 17:00] | (Last entry 16:30).

Nice place to touch and feel the animal's. Even feed turtle's. Entrance fee seems to be bit expensive, other than that worth to visit.

Didnt actually went to the zoo, we just ate at the food court. The food is good, u can view the cute qturtles from the restaurant. 😌

U can see all the birds very closely...very well maintained...and gets kids and adults excited alike👍👍

Amazing reptile zoo!

Just amazing! If you are a reptile fan like me you have to come here! It’s one of the best places in japan!!!

It was fun, wish I had more time to study, only had an hour before they closed.

This is a fantastic zoo for any fans of reptiles and amphibians. It has a very large variety of reptiles on display and fantastic interactive experiences! Highlights for us were the free range tortoises, tortoise race, and the size of the zoo (much more extensive than we thought). We weren't able to see some reptiles but this was because they had high quality terrain in their terrariums i.e. lots of foliage/logs etc. There is limited information about the reptiles in english but google meant this wasn't really an issue.
Ample parking, huge gift store, and good meal selections.
We thought the ticket was well worth the experience!

My kids loved it but not my mom…;( since this zoo is only for reptiles.

Absolutely amazing close contacts with a widest variety of reptiles.
Interesting to see many of them like chameleons and tortoises kept without the cage.

This place contains alot of uncommon animals/reptiles.

We love the iZoo. We’ve been twice and our girls always enjoy their time there!

Watch, touch, amazing!!! To visit the iZoo was on my bucket-list for japan.And I only had to walk 30min from the kawaza station.
