Raicho Lodge Madarao

A great spot to stay if you visit Madarao kogen. Rooms are clean and spacious and the living room is very cozy. The fireplace is such a plus when you’re tired after a day of skiing.

We absolutely loved our stay at Raicho Lodge, exceeded expectations!
We had a double family room which was perfect for our family, very spacious, clean with comfortable beds. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the common areas of the lodge were the perfect place to relax at the end of the day. Highlights being the fire place, the bar staff make a great gin and tonic and waking up to a delicious hot breakfast to fuel us for a day on the mountain. Very close to ski runs and easy access to all of the Madarao resort with some great restaurants to choose from.
Will definately be back next year!

We loved everything. The lodge managers run an accommodation to the highest standard. The beds were amazingly comfortable, heaps of hot water, the fire place epic and super friendly staff. The powder on Madarao was next level. I highly recommend booking a ski holiday here. Our family has so many great memories. We will return.

We have just returned from a week staying at Raicho lodge with our 3 daughters - it’s in an excellent location with an easy walk to the ski school and runs as well as lots of great restaurants. The fire was a huge highlight and we loved returning to the cosy lodge with awesome staff and drinks waiting. The rooms are a great size and super comfy and good amenities with kitchen, laundry/big drying room. We will definitely be back.

Fabulous stay at Raicho Lodge Madarao. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable and served a great breakfast. The lodge is an easy walk to the ski fields and Madarao has amazing snow without the crowds. The lodge has its own bar with an open fire - the perfect place to relax after a big day on the snow.

The lodge is in a great location near a beginner run. It is light, airy and great value. Staff are fantastic. Highly recommend ski/board lessons with Col. Resort has something for everyone, and there are no queues to be seen at the lifts

We stayed at Raicho Lodge for a week in February 2020 and loved everything about it. The beds and rooms are supremely comfortable, the customer service team (Kaity, Brayden and Jeff especially) were welcoming, accommodating, understanding and at all times offered the best guest experience imaginable. The breakfast is quite good (waffles!), but the Raicho Supper Club (restaurant) is where the food comes alive in the evening - absolutely superb showcase of local produce... we had to wait 4 days into our stay to even GET a table, so book early! We were disappointed we only discovered the huge marshmallows available for toasting by the fire towards the end of our stay....this was the best. Absolutely loved Raicho Lodge, and no hesitation recommending it for your Madapow snow adventure.

Brae the manager was really nice. I'm vegetarian and he made me French toast for brekky. Beds are very comfy. Rooms are quite small with thin walls, however are newly renovated. I wore my earplugs and had a good sleep. Very helpful staff and close to the chairlifts.

Last year was my first trip to Japan. Spend a week here. Comfy rooms and friendly staff. There is a nice restaurant and bar in the lodge, which sure came in handy. Five minute walk to the lifts and the powder is just unbelievable (picture is right outside the lodge)

Just spent the most amazing week with the guys at Raicho Lodge. The staff were beyond helpful, friendly and went out of their way to give us hot tips. Only a couple hundred meteres to the snow and restaurants. Definitely recommend for a winter get away!

Kermis Tokyo pop up restaurant is here for this winter season only! Absolutely wonderful food. We had the limited edition Sake and The lodge is beautiful too! We are just so blessed to chance upon this place!!! The food in Madarao is dominated by Aussie and the food in this area are just Dreadful!!!!

We stayed at Raicho in Dec 19-Jan 20 wth my family during our 16 days Japan trip and it was the best accommodation during our trip by far - the lodge is clean and very warm in this cold weather, rooms are very comfortable, facilities are modern and clean.
The team is super friendly, trying to help, organise lift passes and luggage transfers, etc.
Plus you get discounts on Madarao ski passes, walking distance to the ski resort, free pick up from the bus stop, etc.
Biggest highlight - they run a restaurant on premises, Raicho Supper Club, and its chef is AMAZING. He managed to create a set of great fusion dishes that combine local Japanese ingredients and elements of European and Japanese cuisines.
It was totally unexpected for us, yet during our trip around Japan (Tokyo-Kyoto-Kanazawa-Nozawa-Madarao-Tokyo), the most comfortable and welcoming accommodation and the best meals were at Raicho.
Highly recommended!

Fantastic stay. Great staff and wonderful option for dinner at the Supper Club. Close to everything. The family room configuration worked well for our family of 5.

Great accomodation! Futon and pillows were comfortable and everything was clean. I liked the decorations and the indoor firepit!

アメニティはお風呂場のシャンプー、ボディソープ以外はないのでタオルやパジャマ歯ブラシは持参してください。
