Shokado Cafe

The atmosphere is perfect, especially in a winter morning when the sunshine outdoor doesn’t really help much fighting against the sea wind.

The coziness and warmth this place offers is amazingly relaxing. Highly recommend.

A great place to rest when visiting Matsushima. Delicious ice cream, delicious pudding, and pretty nice coffee. Next visit, I will try the shop's castella. There's a freshly baked senbei shop too in the 1st floor.

Visit here around 10 am then you don't have to wait at all. You can enjoy your dessert set leisurely and without any stress. Recommend pudding and hot milk!!!

Very best cafe in Matsushima. Soft swirl, oh my god! It is smooth and creamy, cannot find many places that offer such good ice cream for the price. There is free seating&hot tea available. Totally recommeded!

We snuck in here after lunch for a coffee, pudding and cake, plus some unique honey soft drinks for the kids. While you might have to wait a while for a table at some times, it's worth it for the view and the ambience.

Staff are helpful with limited English, and there's an English menu available.

Located on the first floor, this small cafe offers yummy home made cakes and teas. Perfect for relaxing after visiting the nearby islands. Expect a short wait until your table becomes available.

Shokado castella was a very nice surprise, it is freshly made here in the shop. You can buy it separately of with some drinks together. Staff is very friendly.

Delicately balanced cakes and pastry, decent coffee and tea, a beautiful view and elegant interior.

Definitely deserves high valuation even just for external design. Sembeis that are sold inside also interesting ones.

松島必吃菓子店，就在仙貝店樓上。

靠窗的位置能看到五大堂跟松島海岸喔，景色很美。但我們的重點是甜點。

點了蜂蜜蛋糕套餐跟布丁套餐，飲料就是咖啡紅茶之類的。

他家的蜂蜜蛋糕走紮實路線，非常厚實，味道很香，口感綿密，不是那種很軟綿的蛋糕體，而且很大一塊，吃起來很過癮。

布丁是我喜歡的那種現手工烤的口味，搭配的黑糖醬帶點成熟大人的苦味，但跟布丁非常搭配。

好吃到我想買一整條分享給親友，可惜他保存期限不長只好作罷。

結帳時發現有一個小點心，貌似很好吃就買了，直覺果然是對的，那個吃起來像達克瓦茲，裡面夾著花生醬與奶油，幸福感爆棚啊！

接近中午過來，人少，很清幽，座位佈置舒服，窗外景觀很棒。

布丁是很大人的口味，焦糖比一般的苦（怕苦的不適合），布丁體是紮實口感，味道不錯。 咖啡還可，中規中矩。
