One of the best Japanese castles I've ever seen and visited.
An amazing place to explore in Myagi prefecture.

During my recent visit to Masuoka Park in Shiroishi City, Miyagi Prefecture, I was truly enchanted by the park's natural beauty and the numerous recreational opportunities it offers. Nestled in the scenic town of Masuoka, this park is a hidden gem worth exploring.

Great place to visit and see old world Japan. On the day we were there, it wasn't very busy, so we were able to view the castle without the crowds. The staff we're very helpful in explaining the history on building of the castle. The entrance to the castle is via steep stairs but we'll worth the effort.

If you are looking for this kind of photos and walk around the village to small samurai house spot here is the place. But for me it's not worth to visit too little too far.

Great place but not much persons here. It's comfortable

It is always crowded inside the wall during cherry blossom festival, so this park is the alternative. I myself is more prefer this spot, as it also has many cherry trees, we can take a picture with cherry tree and castle as the background (you can not do this at the same time in the inside courtyard of the castle). for family, there is playing ground for kid, so they will not be bored.

桜が満開の白石城。最高でした。お城に上るのに入館料４００円かかります。ただ、階段が急でお年寄りや足の不自由な方は大変だと思います。

本日は鬼小十郎まつり開催でした🎵
大阪夏の陣で伊達軍と真田軍が激突した道明寺の戦いの再現‼火縄銃、弓矢、忍者見応えがありました🎵こういった絵巻物好きですねぇ🎵只16回も実施しているなら観客が観やすくする工夫出来ませんかねぇ⁉招待客は目の前で座っていれますが、一般客は立見、特に子供連が見辛いだろうと感じました❗すり鉢状の席とか、見応えある内容なのですから検討願いたいです。実施している方は楽しそうに見受けましたし🎵

白石市のシンボルに成る隅櫓が有り、中庭にはソメイヨシノやや八重桜が植えて有り、桜🌸の季節には花見のスポットに成って居ます、又イベントも開催されます鬼小十郎が代表的です、伊達鉄砲隊の演舞有り迫力満点です、一度は脚を運んでみては?

白石城に隣接していてベンチや緑もあり綺麗でゆっくりできる場所でした。
この日は春祭りがあり、乗馬体験や仙台武将隊の何人かが来ていました。年に何度かイベントもあるようなのでとてもおすすめです。

ライトアップ白石城&桜は幻想的です🌙

桜が満開でお城と桜が同時に楽しめました。
城内の売店では、サクラソフトクリームを食べました。とてもサクラのいい香りがして美味しかったです。

伊達藩ゆかりの居城が保存されており、歴史を感じさせると共に桜が咲き誇り、白石市民の憩いの場所として、こよなく愛されているホンワカとした場所です‼

宮城県白石市の観光名所「白石城」🏯もあり、🌸桜の季節に、秋の小十郎祭りの人気イベントもあります。是非入らして下さいね
白石の方は、散歩コースにオススメです

岩手の法事帰りに寄りました。綺麗に管理されています。城入り口の管理人さんと話が盛り上がり、楽しかったです。

何度か行ってますが、手入れもされていて綺麗な城でした。
