Tango-Amanohashidate-Ōeyama Quasi-National Park

A quiet, beautiful park situated on the Amanohashidate natural bridge. We visited in early September and the water on the north side was nice and warm. It’s a great area to cycle and you can rent bikes in the bridge or nearby in the town for about ¥400-¥500 per day.

The Amamohashidate sandbar allows for a nice and relaxinv stroll during autumn, you can choose to either walk on the path along the pine trees or along the beach on either side of the magnificent bar.

So relaxin a beautiful place to spend the afternoon and get some rest.
Even for a nice and quick nap under the pine tree .

Nice peaceful place to chill in while waiting for the tran. Lots of food stalls around. The people are very kind.

Definitely go up OM the chairs instead of the cable cars! Enjoy an ice cream and the beautiful view.

Beautiful and serene. Worth coming both during the day and at night for two different experiences. There's a light show that comes on after dark which is quite nice, bit probably best viewed from the observatory up on the Southern hills.

Amanohashidate is quite long, so its worth hiring a bike to ride instead of walking.

I came in early September, and it was dead quiet, very few people (by Japanese standards).

The bridge itself didn't seem too special because when we went because it there were no ships passing by but its worth to walk the few km to the other side and back. Its quite peaceful and enjoyable when you take in the nature.

The area is amazing. The view was beautiful. It is very quiet and peaceful environment with minimal foreigners visiting but it could change within a couple of years. This is one of the hidden gem in Kyoto.

Can walk end to end about one hour in 　 pine trees. Or travel by bicycle (rental !one is also available).
If you have much mony, can go around by motor boat.
Sometime, you fined bridge turns open to close luckly when big boat goes pass by.
In summer, can swim. Shower is available.

Super cool rotating bridge. Frequently opens due to passing barge traffic. Worth the wait.
