Bar EL CAMPO（バーエルカンポ）

We reserved the cabin and dinner at Bar El Campo. Keita, the owner, bartender and chef was very friendly.
We opted for the venison course and were served deer and wild boar. My son ate a burger.
Cocktails were all delicious.
I ordered an old fashioned, Negroni, Penicillin, Marguarita, and a boulevardier. My wife got a custom drink with gin and a Moscow Mule.
The meal and drinks are 5 stars.
The cabin was cosy. El Campo also offers a dorm option and space for camping.
I highly recommend. We are already thinking of going back.
Also, they are very friendly with foreigners.

Fully functioning kitchen and bathroom. Towels, shampoo, soap, conditioner, toothbrush and paste provided. Information about the area provided (even in english🥰). Beds were already ready. Very spacious even for our group of five people. Cute Woodcabin with a fire place. You can rent a lot of stuff, even a bbq set. I highly recommend renting a car/go there by car because it’s quite rural. Please visit!

Great & comfy stay here. All rooms are decorated with light color wood. Camping gears are provided for rent if you need. F&B is available from 3pm onward.

A hidden gem in the Gokase area. Keita san is passionate about his bar and creates and serves some awesome originals! A must visit log cabin next door where you can stay for the night and walk to the bar for a relaxing evening!! Highly recommended.

Great place to stay. The atmosphere is wonderful. The wood stove in the cabin is also marvelous!

Great one night stay in April ‘23. Home cooked food from the proprietors wife and great bar service from the proprietor. Stayed in the cabin with loft accomodation, kids loved the novelty of futon sleeping with the whole family in the loft. The young owner has put a lot of thought and effort into this place. Will visit again on next Kyushu trip.

An excellent choice for groups, as the room sleeps 4 in firm but comfortable bunk beds with cotton linens that are clean and feel well made. While the room contains a full private bathroom, there is a shared living room with sofas, kitchenette, and a wood burning stove. The room is all light colored pine wood, giving it a rustic feel, and everything is spotlessly clean. Soap, shampoo and conditioner provided in the shower. There is no closet, and the only place to hang things is on a single hanger set above each bed, so pack light. The staff member who checked me in was a delight, happily calling local restaurants to find a place that had a special local dish I wanted to try. He also did a great job introducing the property. The main house/lobby has a full bar with every fine alcohol imaginable, as well as a menu of simple bar food. Parking is easy.
Suggestion for the owner: add towel hooks so guests can hang their towels after showering.

Nice cabin that meet our stay needs. Super helpful owner. During our stay that night, our rented car, roads were all covered with snow overnight. Owner help to reach out to nearby mechanic so we could get the tyre chains and resume our journey

The guest house was really cute and nice. Everything was clean (I would say cleaner than a hotel) and not as small as you’d think. Do remember, though, these resemble cabins (hence the name el campo, meaning camp), but it was much nicer. The bar is right next to the guesthouse and the inside had a really nice vibe. The owner was also very kind and I can tell he works hard. I would definitely recommend!!

The staff are very friendly and the rooms and facilities are very nice. There is also a really nice bar with delicious food and drinks. Was a wonderful experience 6/5 stars!

ゲストハウスはこじんまりしてとてもきれいに清掃されており、快適に過ごすことができました。
お隣のバーで事前にお願いするとお食事も用意をしてくれます。カクテルも珍しいものからオーソドックスなものまで感じのよいマスターが美味しく作ってくれます♪

カフェで利用しました。鹿肉を食べるのは初めてでしたが、とてもおいしかったです！
