We had a fantastic and easy experience purchasing our vehicle from Yamaguchi-san in June of 2018. He and his staff are friendly and courteous, and since we had no vehicle as we were inbound to Sasebo, it was an amazing perk that they would come and pick us up and take us to look at vehicles. I would recommend doing business with Yamaguchi-san! For the condition and quality of the vehicle we purchased, my husband and I agreed the price we paid was very fair. And, when we picked up our vehicle, we even had a fantastic present from Yamaguchi-san, snacks and some beverages... from previous experience, it is a fantastically Japanese custom, and we very much appreciated it.

(We were in Sasebo previously for eight years and in that time we bought three vehicles, and the vehicle we bought from a dealer was by far a better and more reliable experience than buying from an individual.)

Cars are nice but a little pricey but it does come with the JCI and road tax. That is two less thing to deal with. They are located about 45 minutes away from Sasebo main base. Google maps puts you tight in the driveway. Thru will also come and pick you up if you don't havea cart already. They have 1 translator that was very helpful and speaks decent English. You can talk to them via Facebook or phone. Facebook was the easiest and convenient for us to use. They post their cars on Facebook group pages for people to look at pictures. If you type in Sasebo Resale you am join the group you will be able to see their posts. They have more cars on the lot than what they post on Facebook. If you are looking for a specific car you can ask them and they will look for it. If they can't find it they will help finding the next best thing.
