Nakao Villa

We stayed at this well equipped Villa over Xmas 2022. We started the booking process with the house manager Hiromi, she was so very helpful with organising our booking, did shopping for us before our arrival , made dinner reservations , organised our transfer from train to villa. Helped us with hiring our ski gear . We had a wonderful traditional meal at her home on Xmas night -amazing creativity ,the most generous ,caring experience .
Anything we needed she was there in a jiffy ! Our driveway was always cleared of snow everyday for ease of getting to main road where we could either walk in to town or catch a bus ( timetable displayed in the Villa ) The Villa had plenty of room for the 4 of us ! Very clean and tidy , fully equipped kitchen, heating in the house was excellent , beautiful views of mountains , coffee shop across the road ( owned by keen snowboarders )
The kids enjoyed sparena ( local hot springs ) The ski lift was excellent , very new enclosed and modern . At the top of the main lift is a large food hall with a variety of cuisines.
Hiromi is a yoga instructor and guides tours around the area , nothing was too much trouble for her .
