Nakamura Keith Haring Collection

A wonderful museum and building. The scope of the collection was fascinating and the curation of the current exhibition really well done. The staff were all so welcoming and so passionate about the artist and the work. Definitely leave time for the gift shop! A perfect day trip (but we stayed across the road at the equally great Lodge Keyspring)

Definitely worth the trip down to this museum. One of the largest collection in Asia. A number of unseen art pieces are housed here. Open area was closed due to the snowy weather. Was told that there is also a Hotel by the name of Keyforest HOKUTO which is a 5mins walk - Unique Design worth checking out as well

Beautiful location, gorgeous architecture, friendly staff. It's possible to walk from the station but there is a seasonal bus (spring-fall maybe). Great displays, not huge, but I spent about an hour taking my time, looking through everything.

Amazing museum! Never thought of seeing something like this in such a small town! Every space full of Keith Haring’s art and history! Opens everyday! The museum shop is a must see!

The architecture is very nice. I think it can be counted as one major work that follows the theme of Keith Haring.
