The absolute best burger I’ve eaten in japan! The staff are amazing and food is incredible and beers are cold! Definitely one to add to your nozawa bucket list

We are regulars at Nozawa, but this was our first time to visit Tommy’s. We really enjoyed the burgers we had, and I was excited to see that there was a grilled chicken option. The charcoal buns are a unique touch! If you’re in the area, give Tommy’s a try.

Great little bar. The manager, 8, was very friendly and helpful, talking us through the local spirits and cider. The burgers were delicious, and the onion rings were some of the best I've had. Would definitely recommend this establishment.

Relaxed atmosphere. Good music. The host 8 (Eight?) was helpful and gracious with his English.

Super yummy burgers! The local gin selection is also really good. Great service, the staff are nice and helpful, we’ve been back a couple of times in our stay in Nozawa to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and good music as well as the food and drinks

I was annoyed at first that it was a bit of a walk… but the food was bang on !! Big generous burgers.. meat was cooked to perfection - juicy as !! Service was great and the bar was pretty cool
To top it all off - yamazaki is available by the glass
Possibly the best food on the ski fields
The guy runs it is a top bloke too

Excellent burger with fries. I wasn’t really expecting to be this good. The bun is black and very delicious. Kind of a surprise.

Delicious burgers with a nice option to customise your burger. Enjoyed being able to seem my meal made and lived the bamboo charcoal bun.

Make it a MUST stop in nozawa… the burgers are some of the best I’ve had and you can relax with a beer and play street fighter on PlayStation..

Tommy is a local legend… former downhill racer turned snow surfer and Nozawa’s Burger King. Taught himself English by watching movies like Rain Man and Big 100 times! Great burgers and hospitality. Try the locally-made gin.

Huge BB burger which was soooo satisfying! I wasnt sure it would be enough- but very big meat patty and super tasty. Friendly casual burgers and drinks, flexible for groups and solo diners. If you are staying nearby Tommy’s is a solid dinner option instead of trekking up to the main drag.

Delicious burgers, cool atmosphere, great service! The burgers were big and super tasty, quite cheap for a superb quality. The staff were extremely nice, too! They offered to dry our snowboards and snow gear while we were eating. Highly recommend!

Seriously the best steak and burger I’ve had! The BB King burger is huge and tastes second to none. My mate got the steak and I tried it I had to order one cause it was so good struggled to get through both but enjoyed every minute of eating! Absolute legends of a crew. Don’t get confused with the restaurant downstairs!
