Fairfield by Marriott Kyoto Amanohashidate

Extremely pleasant experience at this hotel. Rooms were clean and aesthetically pleasing. Bed was really comfortable to sleep in. Staff was friendly, welcoming and kind. Did his best to speak to me in English and helped me with any queries I had about the area. Location is convenient for anyone looking to go to Ine or Amanohashidate as the Tankai Bus Stop is right opposite the hotel. Expressway Bus from/to Osaka or Kyoto are also directly in front of the hotel. The hotel staff also provided us with a restaurant guide of the area and a cute and detailed hand-drawn map. Highly recommended for anyone staying in the area! Would definitely come again.

Near a supermarket. This hotel has no restaurant, but they did their best to put up maps of restaurants in the area for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Rooms were spacious, comfortable.

New and clean hotel located conveniently next to the intercity bus stops. Coin washers and driers available, but the driers do not dry.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, best bed and pillows. Laundry machine prices is very reasonable. Facility is clean and has a chilling public dining area with microwave for self service

Incredibly new, clean, and spacious rooms with a modern touch, beautifully decorated. Bed is amazingly comfortable in terms of mattress firmness and fluffy pillows. Location is great in city centre. The lounge on first floor is very comfortable and cozy, and even has free coffee machine.

We accidentally scratched someone's car when parking outside the building, and the staff was very friendly and helpful in helping us report to the police (as required in Japan). The front desk manager was so friendly and courteous, he even gave us free breakfast bread as we were sorting out the whole thing with the car owner. The room price was incredibly reasonable for the level of service and spacious room.

Highly recommended and wouldn't stay anywhere else if you want to visit the Amanohashidate scenery spot! Thank you for the memorable stay!

Very nice hotel for the price! From what I understand it was finished during the pandemic, so everything is still very new. The staff was very welcoming. Great experience!

Rooms were in the smaller side but everything was clean as usual in Japan. The service was great and everyone we encountered were eager to help. They have laundry machines which we took advantage of on our 14 day trip to Japan. Location is good as it is across the street from bus stop, supermarket and ferry stop. We would stay again when we visit the area.

Spacious and stylishly furnished. The staff are courteous and helpful too. Besides, there is a lovely pantry near the lobby offering tea, coffee and miso soup. A microwave oven and toaster are also available for guest use. The location is convenient too. Mipple Mall is directly opposite to the hotel with a supermarket, several restaurants and a department store. Highly recommended!

Great place. Minimal amenities but you don’t really need much else. There’s a lounge where you can study and get some free coffee. Or warm up some food in the toaster or microwave.

We got the King size bed room and it was great. Pretty spacious and had a good view of the ocean. One thing to note is there is no bath in the hotel/rooms. But the shower is pretty nice.

Incredibly kind employees who seem they genuinely want you to enjoy your stay. We were told about a fireworks show (which I’m told only happens two times a year) just before we left the hotel. It was a nice way to spend the evening after some dinner. If I’m in the area again, I’ll come back here to stay.

The hotel is very tastefully decorated, modern and new. A great place to stay if visiting amanohashidate viewland, ine no funaya, miyama village, etc. The hotel itself has no restaurants but there is plenty of food nearby including kappou tango which was recommended by the concierge and is located just behind the hotel.

Located by the main thoroughfare and across the street from tourist attractions, shopping, and restaurants. It is a convenient place to stay while taking a boat trip around the bay or visiting the nearby waterfall or the Amanohashidate side of the forested sandbar that makes this area a scenic treasure.

Visitors from abroad will find all the basic amenities with an extra touch of good design and elegance.
Japanese guests will feel like visiting overseas, with the beds tall and massive pillows.

The room sliding doors are a fantastic idea, when open the room feels bigger with a great flow, when closed they give guests proper privacy while bathing, which reminds me, the room also has rain shower (another pleasant surprise).

It is located right in front of the city Mipple shopping mall, the mall has a supermarket, a small business and restaurant complex (the Japanese cuisine restaurant at the top has a great view of the sea by the way).

If you stay at the higher floors on the ocean view rooms you get a glimpse of the famous Amanohashidate, the top touristic spot of this area.

The hotel does not have a restaurant and does not need one, you will find everything you next right next to its vicinity, you may also bring your take aways inside and have them at the hotel charming back wood deck.

Overall this hotel surprised me for the attention on details that accumulate into a great stay.

Having the Marriot name attach to it made me trust the quality at reservation and it surpassed all expectations at my arrival, by far the best accommodation in this city at 2021.

Resuming, not luxurious and not overpriced, for the price you pay you get your money back at double the value!

Excellent hotel with actively helpful staff that speaks good English. The room is spacious and the service at the lobby is decent.
The location is only a little bit far from the station.

This is a Fairfield. If you understand that then it’ll meet all your expectations. No elite members lounge of course but they have a lounge area for everyone with free tea, coffee, and even an oven and microwave.

They’re opened for one year already but place looks spotless. Bigger than pretty much all 3 star hotels. They have a large sofa in every room which many Fairfield’s don’t usually have which is a big plus. No on site restaurant but there are many places nearby.

Staff members didn’t speak English but it wasn’t really necessary as they sent a pre-arrival email with recommendations around the property. Very friendly as well. Oh and free parking.

The service at Fairfield is top notch and they are super friendly! The rooms are clean and big and very comfortable to rest in! Highly recommended if you are in miyazu

Really good hospitality in this Fairfield, the staff was very helpful to suggest local restaurants and things to do around.
On the back of the building there is a pretty cool terrace for morning coffee or beers in the evening!
