Iris D&C Vet

They are extremely nice and very sweet with our dogs.
They have English translators which helps a lot!
If you need to get your sweet furry family members to the hospital, I can’t recommend Iris D&C enough!

I recently brought my 2 cats in for a health check and rabies vaccine. The price was extremely affordable and the staff was very friendly and spoke English as a bonus. I would definitely take my cats back there if they needed anything else. One of the vets really liked my calico because of her color scheme. My only small complaint is parking. There is not a lot of places to park next to it so if you get there late you may have to park in the paid parking down the street and walk your animal there. Luckily its close and you get the first 2 hours free. I was lucky enough though that I lived so close, they told me I could wait at my house and they would call me when it was nearing my time because parking was full. I really enjoyed my experience there.

Such an amazing place! Helped me and my pup out in a pinch! With pcs coming up needed to get health cert and rabies vaccine. Staff was very knowledgeable about the issue and helped me same day. Excellent staff! Friendly and knowledgeable about flights and pet travel. Highly recommend!!

I absolutely love this vet , I adopted my amazing French bulldog february of this year my husband and I took him to iris to be sure he did not have a life threatening condition before completely adopting him without being able to properly care or have him for the long haul. Luckily iris was able to inform us he was severely inflamed and had a skin condition that was very common for his breed and due to not getting treatment it was at the worse stage . They gave him medication and wanted to follow up the following week. We continued taking him for the next month and each time he improved more and more. Finally they were able to ween him off antibiotics and steroids and just prescribed his allergy medicine. We ended up taking him to an on base vet to get microchipped and he had his allergy medicine dosage lowered and begin excessively scratching all over again. I immediately took him back to iris and they prescribed his necessary dosage and noticed a ear infection and treated him right away. I will forever appreciate them and the professionalism and care they gave for my sweet boy and I will continue taking him there please allow them to offer your fur babies the best care possible. Thank you soooo much to Iris D&C I am so grateful to use your establishment !!

Great service! They were able to do an emergency surgery on my lab and it was not only reasonably priced but the staff was very professional and informative. Great place and experience!

Been taking my doggos to Iris for 3 years. Nothing but the best for them. Vaccines, allergy meds, UTI meds, the whole nine: would recommend them over anyone .

My kitty was having an emergency and they took her back immediately and provided great care! The translator and vet were both excellent and gave my girl lots of love. While I would have paid out the nose for the fast and thorough treatments, my bill was INCREDIBLY reasonable and affordable. We will definitely be using Iris for our routine care from now on!

Really lovely and helpful people..the fees are much lower than in Europe, that's for sure. The ladies at reception are also wonderful. Thanks again for helping me and Flo! 😺

Best veterinarian on the island!

The prices can not be beat and the staff is extremely friendly. Their English great, they really make you feel comfortable with what they are going to do. I love how you don’t have to make an appointment to go in. If you would like to be seen first I suggest going early because people line up outside of the door before 9am. I am going to miss this place when I leave here. I worked closely with them through OSPR and with my own dog. They always called out the dogs by name as soon as I walked through the doors.

Just took my adopted puppy for her second round of vaccines. Everyone was very nice and easy to talk to. There's two parking lots next door. They were even wonderful enough to jump my car when it died. Prices are fair and they treated my dog very well.

I went here on a whim because my old vet closed and I had three fosters who needed taken care of. The wait is usually a while, but I have always received the best care. They have an English translator on site which is great. They have cage covers for skittish cats and a separate room for dogs.

Overall great experience and I will continue going here.

I’ve taken my cat here to be neutered, and receive his shots. Their customer service is excellent, staff knowledgeable and my overall experience was good. They do charge a translation fee, however I found the prices to be significantly cheaper than other local vets, and on-post options.

They are so sweet to my cat and dog! I do my check ups, vaccines, and spray there. It is a small clinic so it can get packed after 4pm but during the day visits are really quick. I'd definitely call before hand though because they have specific times that their English speakers are available.

First vet in Okinawa I feel comfortable with.
All others were over priced and never told us the pricing UNTIL AFTER they do things.(don’t even ask!!)
They worked with how our dog reacted not how it was easy for them. They really seem to care for animals, they’re not just vets!

Lovely staff, some of them Enlish speaking. They understood our dying 17 year old cats suffering and didn't enforce useless treatments unlike some other vets. They were kind, warm and did everything to soothe mine and my husbands tears. It was quick and stress free, the best sendoff our furbaby could have had ❤

This place is just fabulous. The people are so nice 100% recommended. They have English speaking staff also. Just a warning there are a lot of overcharging vets in Okinawa but Iris is not one. Hint 21 vets I can think of be careful.

They are very patient and friendly and took good care of my kitten, Peach, when she needed her vaccinations. The translator is patient too and her translations are easy to understand. This is a very good clinic for english speakers and I recommend it 100%

They’ve done a great job with our rescue. Our pup had several health issues and the staff couldn’t be sweeter to him anytime we come in. The staff is attentive, they listen to our concerns, and address any questions we have whether it be cost, medicinal concerns, etc. They are also less expensive than the first vet we went to!
