只見線長時間停車中の待ち時間に金山町の特産品や只見線グッズ、軽い食料等を購入出来るのが嬉しいです。
赤べこ堂の杵つき玄米団子やにんにくみそおにぎり等がお勧めです🍡🍙

只見線は会津川口で少し待ち合わせするので、駅なかの小さいお店は嬉しいですね
只見線グッズや軽食も売ってます

売店のおにぎりが美味しいです。
電話で問い合わせた際の対応も親切でうれしかったです。

10分の停車時間があったので入ったら弁当が売ってました!山賊焼弁当（600円）はご飯が地元金山町産、ご飯が進むおかずが詰まってます。朝の8時でしたが「開いてて良かった」酒等も売ってますよ。

只見線、長い間ここまででしたが、やっと再開
それでも大志集落には車以外ではこの駅が起点です
土曜日8:30頃到着でしたが、姫ます寿司なかったのが残念😭
朝ごはんは赤カボチャの玉羊羹とどらやきになりました

物は少ないが会津の歴史に関する貴重な本を売っていた。
ちなみに駅を入って左側にある小さなお店です。
