Rishiri Greenhill Inn

Absolutely lovely and cozy hostel and even more lovely and helpful staff. Offered to call restaurants for us to ask if they are open on a public holiday and drove us to the ferry terminal on a rainy day. Private rooms are convenient and the common area (all of the hostel actually) has a great mountain-hut-like vibe. Will definitely stay there again if I can!

We love this hostel! Warm staff, clean accommodations and bathrooms, and great proximity to a grocery store, restaurants, and a beautiful rocky beach right behind the hostel! This place attracts lots of outdoorsy types, so there’s a laid-back energy and always someone to talk about your adventures on the island with.

Helpful staff, good service (free transport to Mt Rishiri starting point and ferry terminal al in the morning). Free use of kitchen, and provide bread for breakfast.

This little gem in Rishiri is a must visit for anyone coming to this island. The rooms are fabulous and if you want a truly Japanese stay experience, book the Japanese room! And book it early cause it gets booked very fast!

The owners of this establishment are very nice. They speak little English but help you the best they can! They can easily converse in written English to answer any ueries you have.

They pick up and drop you to and from the ferry port free of charge! They also drop you to the foot of Mt. Rishiri if you are a hiker.

You can rent bicycles here as well for 1300¥ for 8 hours or 800¥ for 4 hours. The bikes are well maintained and cycling in Wakkanai is a MUST!

There's also a seico mart nearby that's about 10 mins by walk.

Amazing hostel, they are so welcoming and nice. Free bread and jam for breakfast, piano, hiking gear and bikes for rent.

Nice guesthouse with relaxing share dinning room, large kitchen, kind staffs, on request free pick up from the port. Great view of Rishiri mt. from the guesthouse and not far from beautiful scenary point near the shore.

Very nice hostel, sunset viewpoint next door, bike rental service, shuttle to port and hiking start point, very nice staff, and cheap. It was a wonderful stay in a great hostel on a beautiful island

Staffs were very friendly and accommodating. Common areas were clean and spacious. Booked for dorm rooms and they assigned a private room instead. Overall a nice experience

Great place to stay, the staff is very friendly (they can pick you up either at the airport or ferry) and there's a very well equipped kitchen where you can prepare your own meal.

Really nice place, they opened just for us, so that we can hike Mt. Rishiri. Drop off and pick up service for donation. Nearby food store.

If you have good weather, get up early to see the sunrise.

Everything is fine with good people and great views.

北海道の利尻島にあります、「利尻グリーンヒルinn」です。
かつてはユースホステルだったようです。
従って設備は最小限ですが、全く不自由はありません。
今は安く泊まれる宿、素泊まり専用の宿です。
キッチンはあるので自炊やカップ麺、冷凍食品など温めて食べることも可能です。
朝は、数量限定ですが無料で食パンが用意されてます。
インスタントコーヒーや味噌汁、スープなどもセルフ方式で販売されています。
徒歩10分圏内にコンビニ、小型のホームセンターがあるので買い出しにも困ることは無いと思います。
食堂以外での飲食は禁止されているのでしっかり守りたいものです。
ユースホステル時代はこの食堂でギターやピアノを引いて宿泊者同士の交流があったことが懐かしく思い出されます。
お風呂は浴槽は無く、シャワーだけですがとても綺麗で清掃も行き届いてました。
トイレも綺麗でした。
レンタルサイクル、登山口への送迎、港への送迎もしてくれますが、時間は決まってますので注意してください。

ニュージーランドやオーストラリアのユースホステルに似ている作りのアコモデーションです

利尻山登山の方には登山口までの送迎サービス　空港着の方お迎えサービス　船着き場は送迎サービスがあります。
施設は清潔でとても快適でした。

自転車ロレンタル1500円8時間はちゃんとしたギヤ付きのロード車なので島一周60kmは可能です　自信のない方には電動もあるようです
シャワーブースはとても清潔でキレイです
自炊もたまにいいかな　町に食堂もあります

宿泊者限定で自転車レンタル（8時間1500円）できます。
自転車とヘルメットを貸していただき、利尻島一周サイクリングを楽しめました。
（体力に自信のない方向けの電動自転車の貸し出しもやっていました）
お昼ご飯スポットも親切に教えていただき、大変助かりました。

反時計回りに島を走れば、姫沼からグリーンヒルinnに向けて下りが心地よく、おすすめ。

宿泊者ならクロスバイクを借りられるとの事で宿泊しました。
対応可能身長も145cmからありました。
泥除け、ドリンクホルダー、鍵もついてます。
ライトは使っていないので性能はわかりません。
事前に時間を伝えれば港から送迎してくれます。
帰りは朝の便は前日の20時までに言えば港まで送迎してくれます。
朝食はパンのみ無料でした。
2人部屋入ってすぐにハンガー等が結構あるので洗濯物を干すのに便利でした。
登山の方が多いのかあまり遅くまで騒ぐ感じではなかったので落ち着いて寝れました。
