Tennogawa Park

Every visit brings a surprise. Here if there was an option for 8🌟 I would give it. It's impressive, an island in the middle of the river with a rest area and lots of shade and nature around to relax all day long ❕🙏❤

Although it was a weekday, there were not a few people. It seemed that a lot of petals fell because it rained yesterday. Still, it was really beautiful. It seems that many turtle families live in this park. The children were all excited to see them gathered here and there. Food trucks were at a certain distance in the vacant lot in the back. Because it was a weekday, there were few customers, so the menu was limited.

This rating is based on visiting during the wisteria festival at night...

Fantastic park. Visited during the Tennogawa Wisteria Festival. Breathtaking.

I recommend going in the afternoon for the festival, so you are able to see it during the day, as well as at night when the lanterns/lights are lit.

Wisteria was in full bloom. Very pretty. The park also has a very nice water play area for kids.

These pictures were taken last year and I am looking forward to visit the place again this year.

Owari Tsushima Fuji Matsuri is on-going. Expect the crowd 😄. Food stall everywhere. Lucky to found the 10 yen pan here in Tennogawa Park.

A big beautiful park with some of the best wisteria displays in Aichi. A great place for the family any time of the year.

One of my favorite places to enjoy flowers. The wisteria festival is astoundingly beautiful.

The pride of Tsushima. This garden is famous for its wisteria, and rightly so. There are thousands of fragrant vines set in lovely areas. There are gardens and walkways and a lake and reflecting pools, etc and so there are ample opportunities for a good photo or two. The Park, even without the wisteria, is a lovely place for contemplation, walks or family/friends get together. There is an amazing festival in summer with floating shrines covered in candles and hand-held fireworks.

Recommended for wisteria, may be only available from late april to early may... parking fee 1000yen, Not sure if required on regular time.

Most beautiful park in Aichi, usually not crowded. There are free car parking , public washrooms and kids playing area.
