koubou Yamabudou

I took my mother to try out dyeing a silk scarf. Mister Yamabudou is very nice and knowledgeable. We learned about the plants we were using and got to see many of the projects and experiments he has worked on. With the natural plant dyes, the time of year strongly affects the colors you can achieve, but even then, he cooperated with my stubborn intentions to recreate a beautiful silver color he showed me and it came out quite beautifully. My mother selected a rich red shade and it came out perfect. I definitely recommend the place.

実際に染めた布で色を見せてもらいながら、自分好みの色合いを探すことができました。
希望したのが難しい色だったにもかかわらず、香料を調整いただいたおかげで、素敵な色合いにスカーフを染めることができ、感動しております。
染め物の奥深さを学ぶこともでき、とてもおすすめの工房です。今度は親を連れて、また染めにきます!
