Tateishi Park

Beautiful scenic beach spot. The parking is free and open until 2000. On a clear day, especially in the winter, you can see Mount Fuji towering over the bay. This spot is great for a date!

Beautiful. Especially when the air is clear and you can see all the way to Mt Fuji. Touches the Japanese hearts.
Parking tends to get full easily on days like that.
We had a relaxing time there, listening to the waves and looking down at the marvelous sea color...

A wonderful little park with a big rock in the ocean and cliffs you can climb with little grassy areas. Plenty of free parking when I went and hardly a soul around. The water is so clear you can see the bottom of the sea floor. The trees look like Bonzai trees and they grow in the area.

A very nice seaside park. I had the view all for myself and two senior citizens fishing around. Nice sea breeze and got my self dipped my foot to enjoy the sea water. I don't know how crowded will it be on weekend since I went on weekday.

Very popular park for photographers & locals to visit during sunset. They have a huge free parking lot however it is usually filled up especially if going to catch a glimpse of Fujisan at sunset. I would recommend going 2 hours before sunset to be able to score a free parking space, if not a lot across the street from LuvIt has plenty of spots but the fee is ¥900 but might be worth it to avoid the hassle of finding a place to park which is extremely limited and places do monitor - especially if you park somewhere that is not allowed 🚫.

Nice secluded cove-like area. Our kids loved it and the waves weren't too crazy. There is free parking but it is limited. We got there early so it wasn't bad. It was a beautiful place!

One of our routine places for kids. The car park is free and it’s not so crowded here compared to Isogo beach. Plus there is nice photo spot!

My favorite place to unwind. Especially summer where you can see the beautiful sunset and if lucky you can see the view of mount fuji. Always go here walking with my dog.

Fantastic roadside spot to chill out, have a picnic, fish, swim. One of the best sunset spots on the Miura Peninsula. Accessible only by car or bus. Parking is very limited however, so bus is an easy drop-off. Definitely a great spot to use a service like Dream Drive camper vans as well!

Water is fairly clear at the whole beach. Great for kids and adults, so much fun.

If you’ve come to Hayama Isshiki Beach and cant find a cheaper car park, then Tateishi is the one. It is free but its best to come early but you can also jump in before an hour & a bit before sunset (4-5pm) and you’ll see people leaving. There’s toilet (not sure if I saw showers). There’s a park on the same level as the car park if you dont wanna get too close to the water or if you wanna have a picnic above the beach level. The water is visibly clear except for a specific spot at sunset. There’s high number of hermit crabs and sea crabs so if you’ve come here to catch some then be prepared as smaller ones are hiding on pockets by the shores. Bigger ones are hiding on remote rocks, which is half submerged into the water. Hayama isshiki beach offers a bit more but this is an extremely excellent alternative. Also, this beach isn’t patrolled regularly by police, unlike the Isshiki Beach which has police patrolling the area and guarding a few of its entrances.

Beautiful! Free parking! Go at low tide to catch tide pools and lots and lots of little tiny beautiful shells!
