This is an easy very touristy walk on a mostly pathed path. Rock formations and cool trees. It won’t take a lot of time to walk the entire thing. Probably less than an hr unless you really take your time. Paths are clearly market, a lot is blocked off.

Fantastic Nature!!! The rocks and the trees are stunning. A shuttle takes you to the top, the long route took us 2h, with lots of Foto stops and taking in the nice surroundings. Take time to enjoy!

Beautiful outdoor area with breath taking views of the ocean, banyan trees, and rock formations. It's a wonderful place to go for a short or long walk / hike. You park then get your ticket. You can hike up the mountain or take the bus up and down. We took the bus going up and hiked down. There's a cafe with meals at the top.

There's a walk for everybody at this part of the Yanbaru national park! If you're mobility-impaired, you can opt for the barrier-free boardwalks and ramps. If you're more adventurous, you can try the yellow/red trails that take you through the forest where you can see many limestone karst formations. The red trail also takes you to the peak of a hill, which overlooks Cape Hedo.

Views from the top (red route) is a must. Took about 15mins to walk, while skipping all the points on the red route, instead of the recommended time of 30mins.
Bus ride of 5 mins to reach the starting point.

Dog Friendly! Really enjoyed hiking here with my dog. Dogs are allowed on the bus/shuttle but I would recommend hiking up to make the hike longer.

Reached early on a Sunday morning about 9.45am. Entrance fee is 1200 JPY. The shuttle bus will take you to the starting point where you can choose which coloured trail to walk. Started with yellow, continue with red, blue then green. You will see all the 17 spots highlighted on the map. Interesting walk in before the sun gets too hot. Managed to get close to a singing Cicada and took a short video of its high pitch wail. It's interestingly in per second beat and it made my ear throb! Other than that, good view of the East China Sea when you reached the observatory deck.

It's a really good place to visit and explore. You can hear a lot of insect on the trail and see some spiders (warning to those that don't like them) but they wont jump on you. There are some beautiful POV on place that are incredible.

Travel to Cape Hedo at the northernmost point on Okinawa’s main island is easy thanks to the highway up to Nago, thereafter a good seaside road takes you all the way to Daisekirinzan, an amazing area of karst stone formations set in a beautiful green and spectacular park. The view from the lookout point towards Cape Hedo is really amazing! There are several walking courses to choose from, and various strange formations to appreciate. There are Power Spots and banyan trees and a lot of labeled tree and shrub species to see. Not least the incessant shrieking of the cicadas we heard on our trip at the beginning of October 2022! Well worth the visit but be advised : wear proper walking shoes, not slippers or open sandals. It’s about 90-120 minutes from Naha, depending on traffic, by car and about 100 kms. Yanbaru is the place to get away from the city and enjoy Nature !

I loved this place. I wish I had left more time to explore each one of the walking courses but was trying to cram too much into the day. Friendly staff supporting a natural attraction enhanced with walkways and easy to navigate trails. The view from the top of the escarpment was majestic and the wall back through the banyan tree gallery was equally amazing.

Was here during 12pm and was surprised that the path was shaded by the large amount of trees. So did not really sweat. At the top, can view Cape Hedo. Lots of interesting rock formations. Have to take the bus from the ticket office to the start of the path near the top of the attraction. Staff said will take about 2 hours to finish walking the path, we took one hour at a leisurely pace.

¥1200 per adult to get in, a bit overpriced in my opinion, but worth it! we hiked all 3 courses in about 2 hours. Options for kids, strollers, and wheelchairs. If able, definitely take the yellow course as it has the best views of Cape Hedo. You’ll never get to see Hedo from above so I highly recommend! Plus, there’s free bathrooms throughout the park and a free rock museum/display in the main center. There’s a delicious restaurant in the building too to enjoy after a hike!

Came here many times before and now again with my parents while they were visiting Okinawa. Easy walking in the forest to calm the nerves and relax.

Great place to visit if you want to spend a couple of hours walking in the nature. Once you get to the reception and pay for the ticket, a bus will take you to the beginning of the trekking. Once you are there you can choose among 4 different paths depending on what you want to see and how long you want to walk. We choose the panoramic path in order to enjoy the view of the northest most cost of Okinawa.
In the same building of the reception there is also a small museum, a bar and a gadget shop.

1200¥ for an adult and its less for kids but I don't have any🤷‍♀ Totally worth the price for a semi- made safe and easy to walk paths through Rock formations, views and forest. Wear a pair of decent walking shoes and you will good to go. Nothing was too difficult to walk, I walked all the trails easily. Signs along the paths are in English. Check out the little museum (free) before you go to give you some history into the area.

Plenty of parking. Has English maps. Takes credit card.

The forest is ancient. A lots rock formations of different shape. Some are reassembled of dinosaur. This is the second time I have visited and it has improved a lot and they have built a brand new entrance building with restaurant. If you go there later in the afternoon the forest can be very spooky.

A well maintained national park where you can have easy walks. There are 3 trails, and it's recommended to take them all. Trails are paved with little wooden pieces which keep the trail dry. You can see rocks in special shapes and relaxing sea views at some points. You can see the nature of Okinawa.

Amazing banyan trees and rock formations.
At the parking there is a exhibition hall where you can look and learn about rocks and geology of Okinawa. The admission fee is very reasonable and the shuttle bus is included. There is hand disinfectant available nearly everywhere. There is a route for handicapped people without steps, but unfortunately you will miss out on the beautiful sea view. If you can walk, it’s great but be prepared for quite some steps.
Personally I liked the banyan trees even more than the rock formations. They are incredible to look at and I would recommend to take the forest trail back to the parking instead of the bus.
Note: don’t forget mosquito spray!
