Takato Joshi Park

It's one of the best Cherry Blossoms places that I have visited . Although it is drizzling on the day of my visit , the full bloom Cherry blossom trees put a big smile on my face . Do take note that the entrance fee is 600 yen for adults and parking is 1000 yen . Highly recommended .

Beautiful during the cherry blossom season this park is definitely worth visiting late March/early April. This year, 2021 with the corona virus still affecting everything, there are various measures being taken while entering (temperature check, hand sanitation sites, social distancing, personal info written down).
The views are quite spectacular with the Kiso mountains framed with Sakura blooms and around the park there are some relics of the Takato castle ruins. Just be prepared to pay for parking (¥1000) if you don’t want to walk up the hill from the free parking lot by the Mibu river below. Either way there is still a admission fee as you enter.

Incredible views during the Sakura season. There is a large number of blooming flowers, several stalls for food and a large number of Japanese tourists! Parking can be difficult so be prepared for a wait!

Ist time i went there,with my japanese friends. We take tour bus from Kumagaya St. It cost ¥ 10000/person include simple lunch box. We stop 3 different place before arrived at Takatojoshi Park. It's rainy but the sakura still beautiful. See you next spring...

The park is so small that you can walk round it in 10 minutes. However, there are so many cherry blossoms. And they are thick. Due to the location of this place, the temperature was low, 2°C in the morning when I was there.

Beautiful and a tranquil place. Definitely recommended during the Sakura blossom season. For the rest of the year, entry is free.
