Ikomasanjo Amusement Park

A super fun old school amusement park up the cool mountains (6dC lower than ground temperatures!). Great fun for the kids. Some rides are super popular with the adults/couples and entail a 1-2h wait, eg Puka puka Panda and Cycle Monorail. Can spend the whole day here :)

Definitely a great place to bring your kids! I went with my friends and though the rides are mainly for children, since the place is top of the mountain, it almost didn't feel like children amusement park.

The evening scenery there is a top notch!

There's a hiking trail as well which we went and it was quite challenging but worth it.

This is great for all aged kids, even adults. Attractions are safe amd reliable. Prices are also good. The view from top is gorgeous. I really recommend everyone who visits Ikoma city in Nara Prefecture. You can go by cable car and also visit Hozanji.

I’m an impatient person so this place was good for me. Found the rides decent especially for the wait times and price. Don’t expect crazy thrilling adrenaline rush inducing rides though. More of a chill amusement park with amazing views.

The park is fun in a location with nice views and not many tourists. You can take individual rides or buy a ticket for all rides and you can take the cable cart up- and down the mountain to Ikoma station so you don't have to walk all the way up.

A great place for a day out with young kids. Great scenery and fresh, clean air too Also a great place to hike up the mountain to.

Loved this park! Great views from many of the rides and not too busy. Very fun and relaxing experience. The ghost house was really interesting to see with all the Japanese oni :D
