Definitely enjoyed catching my own fish which was prepared as we liked! Fun for families and groups. Excellent team-building activity! Enjoyed how helpful and fun-loving the staff were. A true must-do for Osaka visitors!

Wow, just wow. The night scenery here is just vibrant and colourful. Full of lights. Eye catching and dazzling signboards. Not to mentioned the iconic tower.

The day and night experience is just totally different. Daytime is best for shopping. Night time after dinner is best for strolling and photo/video taking.

Gotta give it to the Japanese people for their amazing creativity for their display of signboards.

The restaurant signages here are a must see. The light displays are definitely entertaining to look at.
This place has so much character and it feels like you’re in a mini theme park.
Come here at night, and grab some drinks. You wont run out of options.

Great spot to drop by. I didn’t go on the top but ended up spending hours walking around the tower filled with hundreds of shops and restaurants. Good vibe and really fun if you’re a foodie. A lot of things to try. Nice view for both day and night which gives you different feelings. Night time seems to be more vibrant in my opinion.

The view of the tower from outside is astonishing, especially at night! I haven't tried the observatory but the tower slide is awesome! It was one of kind experience for me and quite thrilling to be honest. There is quite a queue for the slide, however the experience is definitely worth it! Just a tip, after the slide, download your video through browser. A personnel will be able to assist you in downloading the video.

Great food and shopping area, next to the Tsutenkaku Tower. Plenty of local food stalls and souvenir shops. Lots of places to take great pictures. A half hour walk from the Dotombori area. Next to the Osaka Zoo and a 5 min walk to the Osaka sign. A must see for your Osaka trip.

We just walked from Dotonbori to visit this tower. It took us about 50 minutes since we needed to stop for each convenience store looking for a heat pack and for some interesting shops along the way. We really wanted to visit this in the evening to see the Osaka night lights. Around 6 pm, there's only a short queue for the ticket. We only pay for the Observatory as I'm not a fan of the slider.
This is a good experience since the view at the top is amazing. You can walk around to experience 360 views of the area. The fifth floor is peaceful with all the golden with lots of billiken statues around go down to the fourth floor, and you'll be transported to the retro disco themed floor. Aside from the slider, there's no other activity here.

We took a private tour to explore the area for a few hours. This is busy area with many streets full of touristy shops and restaurants. The kids enjoyed the buildings designs and various food options. I recommend it if you’re in Osaka!

Took some time to visit this tower since it’s a free entrance with my Osaka Amazing Pass. Mind you if you’d like to experience the tower slide, you need to pay extra I think about ¥1000. Queue was long so waiting time was about almost 30 mins for me. Quite an old tower actually. View was great.

I've seen it plenty of times already but I just can't help it, I always feel charmed and entranced by that beauty!

Whether it be day or night, it's always a gorgeous sight.

The fact that Shinsekai is also a very atypical area makes it all the more attractive.

If you're in the area, definitely go and take a peek.

Tsutenkaku is beautiful to look at both during the day and at night.
Depending on the day and time, there may be a wait, we queued for about 30 minutes until we could buy the tickets at the bottom of the stairs. There is also a very interesting souvenir store at the bottom.
You take the elevator to the top, then you can go up a few more stairs, where there is a small footbridge for a nice photo opportunity.

You can also collect some stamps at the top.

Another exciting experience is the slide on the 2nd floor. However, this can be reached via a different entrance in the tower.

Tip: Osaka amazing pass

You need to pay extra to get to the uppermost part of the tower, where you'll step on this little area with clear flooring. But it's worth it! The tower slide was fun too! Wish it was a longer slide though.

It was very kid friendly, even with the tower slider. I enjoyed it very much and the observatory deck was amazing. The view from up there was absolutely phenomenal and I highly recommend it for some profile picture shots 😉

Tsutenkaku is Osaka's iconic steel tower. It seems to have been built for tourism, not as a radio tower. I visited early in the morning so I couldn't go inside, but one day I would like to go inside one day and see the city of Osaka from the top.

What a beautiful view!! I had a fairly long wait to enter to the level 4 platform, but I would say the view there is just normal. Please buy the 300¥ ticket to the special observation deck on level 5, that’s where the beautiful view is at!! There is a small extended platform with a glass bottom where you can take some photos… and the view is spectacular! It’s super chilly when we’re up there so be prepared to wear some layers if you’re going in autumn/winter!

This was great view from the top. A very long wait for lifts and entry etc but it was a lovely sunset view. Recommend if you are in the area.

This place was so fun! We didn’t know what to expect but it didn’t disappoint.

We got in line about 15 mins before opening and were first in line for the observation deck. We also bought tickets in advance through a third party and when we got there, only had to pay the difference to access the outdoor space.

We went straight up in the elevator and kept going to the outdoor deck. Since we got there early, we were the only ones there. After that, we went to the different areas inside, stamped the Billikens, and played games (mortal combat and ring toss). We took the stairs all the way down and had a lot of laughs throughout.

It had nice views of the city and overall a fun, quirky experience!
