Kawazu Cherry Blossoms

The sakura trees are mainly planted along the river. The festival is on Feb. My visit was on 8 Feb. About 70-80% bloomed as there was a snow few days before. The full blossom seems around mid-Feb;1-2 weeks earlier than last year.

The most beautiful view ever!!! They have an entire stretch planted along a canal! It was in full bloom when we visited in Feb :)
There's are some food stalls along the path that sell some really good food

Went during the Lunar New Year and the sakura trees lined up along the river bank were majestically blooming! Bought the tayaki and oranges and loved ‘em! 🌸🩷

I’ve visited the last day of February, they’re almost full blooming. All the pathway is incredibly pink.
Worth to walk to observation deck, coz less people around that area.

Early blossom booming this time. It’s a bit warm than other area in JP. It is supposed flower is booming til end of this week.
It’s easy to get there by train or express train. For tourist with big luggage , there’s a line of locker with varity size from 400-800yen/ time.

As of the end of February of 2018, unfortunately the tree was not full-blooming due to a cold climate alteration in this season. I'd say the peak blooming would be mid-March in 2018. I hope I could see the tree in full bloom next year.

As of February 28, in 2019. The tree was full-blooming. However the weather as I was there was unfortunately rain. But I enjoyed its beautiful flower petals(^O^)

The cherry blossoms is gorgeous. They are ripe for nearly 100 percent. There are many visitors at this time. In about two weeks, the cherry blossoms season should be gone. The traffic is very heavy and carparks nearby are full

Visited 20 Feb late afternoon. Just as beautiful as I imagined they’d be. Not very crowded either. A wonderful day well worth the trip from Tokyo

Such a beautiful place! Small Town with lots of Sakura trees. Perfect place for hanami. Several food stalls were set up for the Sakura festival. I really loved this small town. Also it's really closer to the station.

Very good place not only Sakura but also some park and waterfall. You can also enjoy sea beach

As of March 19 the flowers are all gone and trees are all green already

+ ample of car park. Please come on weekdays.
+ full bloom maybe end feb. 4th week of feb. 2nd week of feb still 20% bloom.
+ many food bazaar of japanese food.
