Car rental Hokkaido's service was truly excellent. They provided guidance on the shuttle pickup location via messenger even before the trip. I requested a child car seat urgently, and they promptly prepared it, which I appreciate. We received a lot of assistance from English-speaking staff. We rented a large van and had a great family trip for 4 days.

Great car rental experience with this company. Contact person will WhatsApp us few days before we arrive Hokkaido. The car quality is good and clean. Person in charge can speak fluent English and Chinese. The shop is outside of the airport which the staff will arrange pickup from airport to their shop. Pain free experience. WhatsApp to the company when I arrived at the airport and a comfortable passenger van came and picked us up to their office within 10mins. Documents and process was explained clearly and I paid extra for a ETC Card. Drove off within 30mins. Same experience when returning, quick and trouble free. Shout out to Mr Hu who speaks impeccable English and Mandarin, and of cos Japanese too. He also caution us about hiking at this time of the year, mentioning that the bears are awake and to prepare the bear bells.🔔

We rented the Nissan New Note from Car Rental Hokkaido via Klook from December 18 to 24. The employee who assisted us during pick-up was polite and kind. Fluent in Chinese, English, and Japanese, he shared valuable tips for driving in snow conditions and reminded us to drive carefully.

The car was in excellent condition, equipped with snow tires and a separate snow wiper. The car was also spacious enough for two luggages and two backpacks. I recommend thoroughly checking for any external damages to avoid future issues. We drove from Chitose, to Asahikawa, to Sapporo, to Otaru to Hakodate, to Toya, and back to Chitose, experiencing no problems. The car's English navigation system helped us navigate through road closures.

Additionally, they offer the Hokkaido Expressway Pass (HEP) for rental. The rental was paid in credit card while the pass was paid in cash.

The staff (Ray) can speak English and Mandarin which makes communication efficient. They provide shuttle bus service to pick us up in the Chitose airport and send us back to the airport after we return the car. The shop is conveniently located and is easy to find. The car we rent is a Nissan e-power. It is gas saving.

We mentioned we have an infant and they made sure that the vehicle we received addresses this. Made our entire trip a breeze

They spoke English and mandarin too, so communication was very easy.

They didn’t pressure us to review them immediately, told us to do so after the whole trip. This is my most honest review. From their attentiveness before collection of vehicle, to answer our queries regarding Japanese traffic rules during the drive, to handing it back over.

First time visit Japan. Rent a Mitsubishi Delica, which is the latest model. Staff is able to speak in Mandarin. ETA car rental is free with left a comment in Goggle. Just pay 14days at $11500 yen. Highly recommend.

Rented a Toyota Wish for 7 days in Sapporo, the whole process is easy and efficient. Car condition is fine, it’s a bit old but everything’s working well. The staff is friendly and you can Whatsapp them whenever you have questions. Would recommend renting car from this place!

The staff was very good at English, so there was no inconvenience even though I couldn't speak Japanese. I got a very clean new car as the model I booked, and it was a hybrid, so I drove all the way south, and it was very fuel efficient. The ETC card that I rented at an additional cost was also very useful for traveling on the toll road. If I come to Hokkaido next time, I will use it again.

Rented on Klook SG and had a hassle free experience from pick up at the airport to car collection to return. We purchased additional insurance around S$30 per day to have a peace of mind. HEP and ETC card also purchased at the counter.

Car had 100k mileage on it and was still in a very good condition! Received it clean and felt immediately comfortable. Staff at counter was conversant in English which was a very pleasant surprise! Staff on Line was also super fast in replying all my queries!
