Lots of vendors selling everything from. Souvenir, drinks. Can be pushy. However if you forgot to bring sunglasses, hat or water, this is a convenient place.

Probably best to walk right through this area. Except if you need a hat. Oh, and there are plenty of places inside to get water or other drinks. Don't get scared into buying overpriced water bottles at the market.

Price of souvenir is 2-3 times higher compared to the same item in Amman.

A scam. We thought sellers were genuine and they were definitely not. Luckily we only bought one item but realized how overpriced it was when we got a similar one for 1/4th of the price in Petra. Do yourself a favor and don't buy anything
