Al-Albayt University

As a Turkish citizen, I studied for a master's degree here. I recommend it for foreign students. It is very good in terms of Islamic sciences. But the buildings need to be renovated and there are no buses to the capital Amman late at night. This is a very bad situation. Thanks to all my teachers

unforgettable experience, friendly staff, nice buildings and facilities..

The campus itself is huge, you´ll need a few weeks to know where to go, so we need a very well organized information system to help navigate around otherwise you will easily get lost ;(, and there are always some nice People around you to ask for advice if needed.

What surprised me a bit was the overall condition of the Buildings and Facilitys on the Campus itself, they seem a little bit Run down in my opinion and could use a little bit of Renovation here and there, but the overall impression was good, and the university itself provides a lot of nice cafés and restaurants with plenty of food choices :)

So, YES, I would recommend it for sure.

A great university where my father worked between 1997-2000. I was a student at 'Al Abrar' eliminatory school for one year. We also lived in a house designated for university lecturers for one year in 1998. Had great time here. Hopefully I can visit someday.

Al al-Bayt University is located on the outskirts of the city of Mafraq, 65 km to the northeast (about 45 minutes by car) from the capital, Amman - Jordan. The university and the integration of academic facilities, student housing, and social services in one site, and extends over an area of 7539 dunums (a dunam = 1000 square meters).
