Wild Wadi Rum Camp

We had a wonderful three nights and two days in the desert. The camp itself has really nice facilities- much more than we expected (brand new bathroom, warm showers, WiFi at our time of visit) and the location up next to a rock and behind a dune was perfect. The family and everyone we met was kind, laid back, and welcoming. We had delicious food and loved exploring in the back of the jeep. Thank you!

I haven't slept here, and I enjoyed a traditional Bedouin dinner after the Wadi Rum tour. I was surprised that the bathroom and shower were kept so clean, and after dinner, I was able to sit on the bench and see the stars in the night sky, and it was such a wonderful experience.

First time in the desert and I rate it as excellent. We stayed for two nights, Mr 16 made sure, we didn't starve. Ahmed took us for a day trip around the desert, took us to Nice photo shots and to other interesting places. We had water to drink, take shower and toilets. Tents were comfortable, and night was warm. Selman and his friends, family members made performance every evening and taught us their war song i believe and it was very fun. Enjoy your stay!

I was there 5 years ago, so I'm not sure how things might have changed, but back then, it was a wonderful place with lovely staff, great service, and an overall amazing experience, that I definitely recommend. English is spoken well, people are responsive, and I had a super good experience. I am very sorry for not having written a review earlier!

We booked a trip with 4 hour jeep tour, camel ride and overnight stay and it was an awesome experience with Wild Wadi Rum.
We booked everything via whatsapp and they arrange everything including the transfer between Wadi Rum and Aqaba. Compared to other tours this tour is not to expensive.
Our host Achmed guided us through the desert and we had plenty of time to enjoy the views. After sunset at a really nice spot we went to the camp and had a delicous bedouin dinner. Our hosts sang some songs and also danced a bit. It was nice to see this different culture.
The night was quiet and cozy under thick blankets. We enjoyed every moment.

This is a must do experience!! My fiance and I scheduled a day Tour which includes a 4hr 4x4 ride that had a shade on the top. (This is important if you go during the summer season) We added a Hour Camel Ride, Sand Boarding and a lunch. From the very beginning the communication was great. Salman was our guide and walked us through everything via email prior to. We were staying at another camp in Wadi Rum so Salman met us there and dropped us back off. He had waters available for the drive and took pictures for us during our hikes and was just an overall nice person. He even played the oud for us during our lunch. When we met our camels we were met by a different guide named Saleh. He had two camels with him and Introduced us to them. Thier names were Sue Sue and Foo Foo ☺. Saleh was very kind to them and spoke softly to them. We are huge animal lovers, so this was a great experience for us. I highly recommend going through Wild Wadi Rum Camp for your Wadi Rum your.

The very best experience of my life. Very hospitable and respectful people working and living (!) here. Magnificent sunset view. Very nice and warm community tent. Shisha is available as well. Delicious traditional 'zarb' food for dinner. Choose this camp if in Wadi Rum.

I am really happy I made this trip. Had a fantastic guide, Ahmed. Really good and kind and of course a good driver. He took me to many different places in Wadi Rum. And he cooked an amazing lunch. The overnight camp was very cosy. Delicious evening meal with nice company.
Last thing I did in Wadi Rum was having a camel ride on the camel Zuzu (Susu?) And Mr Salah. I really enjoyed it. Great. Thanks for all!
If I could I would have stayed for more days and nigts.

Before our trip, i short-listed the 5 places that had the best reviews and having a similar price range and i emailed them all asking for info. Salman from Wild Wadi Rum was the first the respond. Every question i had, he answered in a couple of hours and we eventually chose them for our trip - and i am really glad that we did.

We had great time at the Wild Wadi Rum camp.
We got in touch with Salman who professionally corresponded with us before we came and organized our entire trip.
Then Husein guided us through the wonders of the desert, driving us through and cooking great food for us in the field.
The camp itself is a great place to stay for the night and enjoy the Bedouin lifestyle with traditional food and Oud playing of the family members.

The desert is amazing itself but this team gives you great experience. I would recommend 1 day 1 night tour since you get a chance to experience a lot. They show you the most beautiful places in the desert, give you a lot of delicious tea, the lunch is tasty and refreshing, and the dinner is simply amazing. Besides typical BBQ made under the sand, don't miss a chance to try the eggplant sauce! You can also try sand boarding. The camp was clean and magical at night.

What more can we say about Eid and his sons at Wild Wadi Rum other than INCREDIBLE!! Eid and his 3 young sons took us on an incredible adventure through the Wadi Rum. Due to the low season we were able to enjoy a private tour.
We weren’t able to start our tour at 9:30 am, but we were able to start in the afternoon and make our way directly to camp. We started on camels straight to Lawrence house and water spring (named after the movie). We then climbed on top, yes on top, of Eid’s jeep and headed for his camp site. We enjoyed the sunset from the tope of a rock formation above the camp while Eid and his boys prepared us dinner. After sunset we enjoyed a game of football (soccer for Americans) with the boys. Under the starlight we have a spectacular dinner.

The next morning we had some breakfast and continued on our journey. After visiting many sites we stopped for lunch under a shady rock and relaxed before making our way back to the village.

This is really an amazing place. The nature is beyond beautiful, and the owners if the camp are more then expected. The whole tour is very well organised, very informative, but relaxed and with plenty of time for your own wakls and wishes. Husein and Salman did a great job during the tour, with even inviting us to their home, as a true friends. I cannot recommend enough the camp and the guys, inclyding Ibrahim who was taking great care of us, and preparing our food.

I visited Wadi Rum with Wild Wadi Rum in September 2021 - it was an unforgettable experience and I can truly recommend this company. They are caring, have a variety of different tours, they provide really good services. The added bonus is the feeling of community and good prices.

This was my 3rd desert experience. It was great. Foods and tents are good and clean. They deserve 5 stars. But they actually have billions of them :)
