Wadi Rum Sunrise Guesthouse

We initially wanted to stay one night but quickly decided to make it two because we were so happy to be there.
Alia was very nice and welcoming and cooks delicious meals with even fruit and sweets for dessert. Such a nice treat!
The whole family was very kind and lovely.
We received lots of good tips and information for the rest of our hiking trip.
I definitely recommend staying here, we would go back immediately if we had the time.
To make it even better there was a camel who just had a baby in the backyard.
We loved everything about our stay here.

Walid and his family gave me an extraordinary experience in Wadi Rum. They were very welcoming and made me feel at home straight away. I'd recommend them without hesitation if you want to discover Bedouin lifestyle. I'll be back.

In the village, they also have a lovely hostel for backpackers and mountain lovers, located just behind their small farm where they breed camels !

We had the most incredible stay at Sunrise Guesthouse! The family are so warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the guest facilities have everything you could need. The family also made us dinner each night and it was always a delicious feast. They are a wealth of knowledge and always happy to answer any questions you have. I look forward to returning to Wadi Rum, so I can stay here again!

Sunrise Guesthouse located in Wadi Rum Village is the perfect place to stay! Ali and Alia are extremely accommodating hosts and were welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area.
The guesthouse itself is clean, has amazing views of the mountains and all food cooked by Alia was delicous. During my stay here I thoroughly enjoyed the company of other guests and Ali's family. The desert is beautiful and Sunrise Guesthouse offers many tours and packages. I hope to come back again soon.

The stay here at Sunrise Guesthouse has been surreal! Being in the village, I could enjoy a sky full of stars at night!

The place is very peaceful, the rooms are very well-maintained, and the amenities are new and clean. Warm shower available.
You can stay in a bedoin-style tent or a regular room, depending on the number of people.

In the morning, the rooster will wake you up with a fresh morning view of the magestic rocks spread in front of you.

The host Ali and Aliya are from a typical Bedoin family, and you can hear about their amazing desert lifestyle storirs. They made sure that I had everything I needed and I was comfortable during the stay.

If you want a magical experience, this is the place for you! Highliy recommended.

Ali and Aliya are great hosts. We stayed at their house at the village for 4 nights and 1 night at their desert camp. The rooms and amenities are basic but sufficient for low budget travellers/climbers. The hosts can help you arrange any transfer you need. You can also stay in their desert camp or take a jeep tour. They really made us feel like at home so I recommend stay at their house.

Ali's guesthouse is a very comfortable place where you can get a unique Wadi Rum experience. His family is adorable and they will do everything to make you feel like home. There are also sunny gardens and a space with animals. Camels and goats watch every guest with interest, and dogs are so cute and well behaved. I had kitchen and bathroom available, and also tried their traditional super delicious meals. I recommend them 100% :)

I just stayed in Ali's family house for 7 beautiful days of climbing in Wadi Rum and my experience couldn't have been better. Apart from the desert camp they have a few rooms available in the village, which is more handy to go climbing. The rates are low and they were always willing to help us, arranging for transport to some of the climbing routes or to other cities the days we took a rest. They have been a lovely family for us and I truly recommend staying in their house.

Ali and his family are really nice and can organize any kind of tour for you (walk, Jeep, camel, climbing) and go out of their way to fit your needs. I trekked for 2 days with a guide (Ali’s nephew) and had a great time going where the jeeps don’t go. There are shared (cold but important if you stay more than a day) showers and European bathrooms in the camp. Overall a great experience, much better than Petra.

Ali and his family are lovely. It's the perfect location to start your tour into Wadi Rum desert. There are options for everybody, you can climb, scramble or walk, 4×4 Jeep Tour or riding a camel, everything is possible. Also the bedouin sunrise camp in the desert is really nice. It's a quiet place and you can watch sunrise and sunset from a small mountain.

The family is very nice and welcoming and their places both in the village and in the desert are clean, tidy and cosy. Alia cooks wonderful local food which makes you feel at home. Organization of all the tours and rides was smooth and they are always there to help you with planning the best Wadi Rum experience. Highly recommended!

We were in wadi rum for climbing, so we needed to stay in the village. Sunrise camp has also accommodation there for a cheap price, and it is one of the few places to stay in the village. Ali and her wife (Alia) were so nice with us, offering all they had to us in order to have a good experience in their house. Don't doubt to ask for anything, transport from/to airport or another canyon, places to visit, trekkings, climbing routes (they have books and topos of wadi rum routes), they are so kind and will help you a lot. And probably you will find more climbers in the house so you can share your experience in a climbing environment with Alia's tee in the living room (and WiFi as well) very recommended experience

Very nice accommodation in Wadi Rum village. The rooms are basic but sufficient, there is a kitchen and a functional bathroom. The price is a fraction of what one would pay for a desert camp stay.

Amazing Host. The sunrise guest house is in town and has a kitchen, It is a great low budget option for large groups of climbers. I would recommend sunrise camp for the beduin experience, and nicer ammenities like flush toilets.
