Joy Of Life Wadi Rum

They picked us up from meeting point, the wadi rum village, then took us to joy of life camping site. The site is so peaceful with an exceptional view. If you stay long, you will have a reclusion experience like a prophet.
Owner is reliable and makes you feel safe. They offer jeep tour on the desert. At night, you can have some social activities and games in the common tent with other tourist groups. Wifi is enough. Plenty water for drinking, no need to bring. Can not be any better on that martian desert.

This place is amazing and the people make it even better. We stayed for 2 nights in a room with a private bathroom and amazing views.

As soon as we arrived in wadi rum village we were made to feel welcome. Yusef picked us up and us around the first day, he was always on time and was very kind.

At the camp the food was great especially the traditional underground cooking and we had fun time sitting around the fire sipping tea and learning about bedouin culture.

The 2nd day we went on a half day jeep tour with Yusef. It was fantastic. We saw many places and learned a lot about each one. We finished off with sipping tea on a sunset rock.

This place was magical and we highly recommend it to everyone. Eid, Yusef and the whole team really made you feel like part of the family

The best experience from Jordan. Eid and his team are very friendly and they know, what is hospitality. Camp is on beautiful place, we had a private half day jeep tour which was extraordinary.

Everything’s very nice, I had a very great time! If you want a nice Bedouin experience, come here! The owner Eid and the staff are very attentive and cook nice food! They also tell you about the Bedouin culture. There’s wifi, hot water and modern bathroom facilities. Jeep tours are available so that you can explore the desert, the sights and can have a beautiful sunset. Highly recommended getaway from the bustle of the city!!!

I stayed 1 night and 2 days.
I had a very nice stay, delicious diner and breakfast.
It is a safe and welcoming place for solo travelers (women) like me.
I recommend to do a jeep tour and enjoy sunset in the desert!

The camp was amazing. Very clean and the staff was so nice and ready to help you with anything you needed. The vibes was amazing. We did the whole day tour and it was a once in a lifetime experience. Our guide, Youssef, was so nice and really made it even better. I recommend this camp for sure.

A wonderful experience with amazing bedouin family.

We started the contact with Eid before coming to Jordan via whatsapp, just to arrange the trip as best as possible. We did a full day jeep Tour and stay a night in the camp. The camp is quite appart from the rest and you can enjoy both a fantastic sunset and sunrise.

Jusef, our driver and guide is so lovely, he brought us to a lot of places and we were alone in most of the times. It has to be remarked also the delicious bedouin lunch and dinner we had.

Everything, at a very good price!

For sure I would repeat with Joy Of Life if I'd come back to Wadi Rum.

Everything was really nice, our guide made our experience amazing, he picked up us in the enter and drove us to different beautiful locations, then he cooked to us a typical Jordan food that was delicious. After the lunch, we went to a few more locations and did sand boarding! To finish the day, we saw the sunset while we was drinking tea. The camp is so welcoming, and everything is so clean. We had a typical Jordan dinner which is cooked under the sand and we saw the starts. We are extremely happy with this people and camp, especially with Eid, the owner, and with our guide and friend, Iusef.

The Camp Is Amazing,Eidi Is ok,evethings allright,the food it's very good,the tenda are very and clean,the bathroom Is perfect....,the tour by the jeap was wonderful...I raccomand you to come here!

We stayed in a tent with a private bathroom, my expectation was not high because it is a remote place in desert, however, the tent was very comfortable and almost like a normal hotel room (hard walls, tiled floor, normal bathroom, electricity). Sand and dust from the desert, which normally gets everywhere, was not in the room.

Nice stay, with great tour and service,
the food was incredible as well.
The camp is also located deep in the dessert for the full experience.

We had the best time here at Joy of life camp! Eid was attentive and a very good host, on the way to the camp we met Eid's beautiful family at his home with a very warm welcome. The jeep tours were mind blowing and the desert is so beautiful.

We stayed at other camps in the area and Joy of life was by far the best! Good WiFi in the evenings, fantastic food and tea. Eating traditional zaab in the tents under the stars is an experience I'll never forget.

The showers and toilets were all clean and working, other camps had no lights or locks etc, not a problem here.

If you're spending hours looking at camps like we were, stop now and book with these guys!

We had an amazing experience staying in the Joy of life camp. After we got picked up from the bus we made a jeep tour through a few beautiful sights. It was all around a once in a life time experience: the staff was very nice and helped us put our bed outside after we ate dinner around the campfire. We ended up sleeping under the beautiful star night.

It was an amazing experience, without a doubt one of the best things you can do in jordan. Besides this camp and it's people were extremely nice with us. I would recommend this one way above the others as I had friends with bad experiences.

We’ve had such an amazing and unforgettable stay in Wadi Rum in the joy of life camp. We stayed for two nights and had a cozy tent. The toilets and showers are fine. We did the full day tour and can highly recommend it. The guide was a 10/10 super kind and well organized. The atmosphere in the camp was great. The camp owner and his family are very kind and helpful people 😊 thank you guys!

Our stay in camp was really good. Tents are electrified, comfortable with enough space. Bathroom is clean with everything you need. Local food was tasty and staff help with everything you need.
Jeep trip across the desert was interesting and funny.
We had just a little troubles with picking us at the parking lot, but with good arrangement should be everything fine.

Zhaid was a very calm, friendly, and amazing tour guide. The camp was good. The night was very cold (end of December), but we got as many blankets as we wanted!

During the whole time we get water, tea and delicious food. All in all, it was a perfect adventure!!
