Stardust camp

An absolute must for a stay in Wadi Rum. I did a lot of research on places in the area to stay and decided on Stardust over other options due to its location further in the desert vs. the camps closer to the main road / train tracks and I have to say that I’m glad I did. The location is perfect for the full get away and desert feel. The staff are all amazing, the owner is fantastic and the food prepared by the cook was all great! Make sure to check out the tour options available, they were excellent and well worth taking the time to see all of the beautiful sites in the area. I have already began thinking about my next trip to Wadi Rum and will be staying at Stardust again. Amazing camp!! The best of Wadi Rum. The location is perfect, so picturesque and quiet. Feels remote, unlike so many of the bigger camps, but super easy to get to. The rooms are modern and have good plumbing etc.. Highly recommend the night tour, a special experience. The staff is lovely, we couldn’t have had a better stay.

Perfect place for a true experience in the desert. The hosts are your friends even before you arrive: they provide you with all the guiding and information one requires during such trips. If you want a specific and lifetime experience, here is the place. 🇽🇰 🤝 🇯🇴

What a completely magical experience at the Stardust Camp! Tucked away but with full views, and brimming with comfort and hospitality, you couldn’t ask for a better situation. Definitely ideal for people who’d like to enjoy a more intimate time with the desert and just a few other guests, away from the busier and louder camp groupings. The activity options are everything you need and more, you’ll probably need one day more than you think you do!

Very nice camp, the staff are friendly and easy to work with, and speak good English. We took a 6 hour jeep tour with lunch, and saw beautiful areas.

One of the best experiences in my life. Everyone in the camp was very kind and helpful. We really enjoyed the trip to the desert. We thank our guide Ahmad for taking us to such wonderful places. The dinner was delicious and we are happy that we had the opportunity to stay in this camp. We have no complaints at all, everything was absolutely perfect. Thank you to the entire staff for a great experience.

The jeep tour was amazing!! Our tour guide and driver was always asking us how’s everything, we had a great experience all over the desert. He made a fire in the middle of the desert to watch the sunset, best part !!

Amazing experience ! We stayed here end of Feb 2023 and I can highly recommend the place. The tent with the view towards the desert is breathtaking. Some bubble camps are located close to the street, this camp is in the middle of the desert. Feels like on Mars. The full day Jeep tour was a dream come true with authentic beduin lunch and many awesome sights and hikes. The team of Stardust camp is very helpful, competent and knowledgeable. Will come back!

I recently went on a guided tour through the desert with the Stardust Camp in Wadi Rum, and I have to say, it was an unforgettable experience! The hospitality was exceptional - the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The guided tour was informative and allowed me to see parts of the desert we wouldn't have been able to on our own. I highly recommend the Stardust Camp to anyone looking for an incredible desert adventure!

They all go out of their way to help and make you feel at home.
The camp is super comfortable, the food is great and the party that night is fantastic.
In addition, the tour is very complete and interesting.

Our stay at Stardust Camp was the most incredible experience of our lives!
The camp is amazing and very well located. We stayed in a cabin with a huge window, from where you have the best view over the desert. It seems that you are in the cinema.
The room is very comfortable, cosy and clean. The bathroom is very cleaned and the shower water is hot.
Majed is the best host! He does everything with his heart and professionalism. He brings hospitality to another level.
All the meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) were cooked by Ali, and they were great and always different.
The jeep tour was amazing! Shadi was our tour guide and driver and he was awesome.
We highly recommend to stay in this camp.

Truly magical experience, we had a wonderful time, our host Majead, is the most welcoming and easy to communicate with ever, and his team is no less of that, Ali and Mahmoud were super accommodating and nice, I highly recommend booking the stay and tour with them.

Amazing place. Absolutely unmissable. Perfect location, food, activities, and the best people we met on our trip. The team went above and beyond: they gave us a great dinner experience with traditional cooking methods, our stay was comfortable, they went the extra mile for a health emergency, they jumpstarted our car, and they were the nicest group ever! Thanks to Majed and the team!!!!

This place. My lord. It is simply amazing. Separated from the “fancy” camps by its location deeper inside the desert it is a more genuine experience to the Wadi Rum desert.
Majid is a calm, friendly local who owns and runs the place. His idea for the camp is authenticity. You will not find WiFi here or expect a toilet in your own tent. Do not come here expecting a spa. You get to enjoy the quiet surroundings in an amazing camp, under a brilliant night sky.
The trips Majid offers are obviously comparable to the ones other guides offer, however: Majid is flexible and knows when you want to take your time or are keen to see more. Even though we saw other tourist being driven around and at different locations , he made sure we got to enjoy the sunset by ourselves, away from the other people in the desert.
He enjoys speaking and learning English and is keen to talk, but not overbearing. I expect you will find many like-minded people spending the night here. I literally have 0 complaints. As for the pricing: we were highly satisfied. The food we had was similarly: exquisite cooking by him and his family.

Everything was great

One of the best experiences of my life. The place is absolutely amazing. But it's the people that work there that were the best part of my trip. I can't wait to come back.
