Mount Nebo

The views are breathtaking. Before you come, refresh yourself with the biblical story of Moses. This memorial is awe inspiring and helped me put a site to the story. Being in the same location genuinely moved me emotionally.

I liked it here because of the significance of how Moses came here to look over the promised land that he was shown from this spot. I didn't like the commercial side of it however. The views are breathtaking and good to see. Ignore the commercial element and you'll enjoy it. Parking is available outside the entrance.

There's not much to see here, but it's definitely a good historical place to visit. Mount where Moses shows promised land to his people and his burial place as well.

One of the best historical and biblical sites to visit in Amman. The place is very well maintained and very clean. The mosaic floor in the church is well preserved and a must see.

Highly recommended. Just be prepared as it is very hot during this time. I had the best time inside the church… a great place for inner reflection and prayer.

Very nice place full of history and amazing views.

On the spot there are free toilets available and a cafè shop that serves a really good Italian coffee.

It's the most holy place in the region. Very beautiful site with great panoramic view.

The interior of the church is amazing and well maintained.

Awesome place to be in. Since it is on the mountain, the panoramic view of the nature is stunning. The place is believed to be the place where God the Father spoke to Moses. The place is well maintained and clean. The nominal fee for the visit is for the upkeep of this place. The washrooms are clean and tidy. A must visit place if you are in Jordan.

This is a beautiful place with wide vistas and amazing views of the Dead Sea area and the Promised Land beyond. There's a small church of Moses on site containing a lot of beautiful mosaics from Byzantine era.

Another must visit place in Amman. It has historical significance for 3 major religions. Visit this place with a guide, as the scriptures there are limited. There are many tourists here. So do take pictures and interact with them. The ticket can be covered in Jordan Pass, so do get it. They have ample parking.

Visited this place during 2013, we’ll maintained historical place. We can get the view of promised land mentioned in the Bible . According to the Holy Bible Moses one led Israelites from Egypt died here.

It was really interesting to go the site where they believe Moses died, not having been allowed to the Promised Land, but he was given a view of it by the Lord. The church is beautiful and had very well preserved mosaics that were really interesting. The views were great of the Dead Sea and Israel in the distance. If you are anywhere near take the little trip to the top of this Holy mountain.

You feel yourself in the cradle of mankind. Wonderful place on the planet. Take your time to walk around and enjoy it. Your Jordan pass is not valid here but the entrance fee is only 3 JOD.

Great mountain where the Prophet Moses was passed the ten commandments according to the bible. Lovely atmosphere. Has breathtaking views of the dead sea.

Just wow. This is the first biblical site I've been to. It's super special. Also the church that preserves the mosaic from some of the early churches here is absolutely beautiful. Very well presented and kept. Highly recommend going here. Oh and it's not part of the Jordan pass, so expect to pay 2JD pp.

مكان رائع لقضاء الْيَوْمَ فيه، بجانب الإطلالة الرائعة التي يحظى بها الجبل،هناك اثار التي تعود لآلاف السنين.

Great services provided there, besides the view is just spectacular, you can see the Dead Sea and Palestine up from the top of mount Nepo.
Good place to visit with family and friends to discover the area and see some monuments back to thousands of years ago.
