Petra Corner Hotel

Small and simple hotel about 10mins from Petra visitor centre. Very few staff but all were friendly. Chicken during dinner was excellent.. the best that we have eaten in Jordan. There's a lunch box for 8 JD that you can purchase at the counter but you can get similar lunch boxes inside Petra for similar price.. So better not to carry for few hours and buy inside Petra

Great Place to stay, Petra Corner Hotel is a recommended choice for visitors to Petra, Jordan. Its walking distance to the Petra Visitor Center, coupled with great staff, acceptable rooms and a delightful breakfast and buffet dinner, make it a convenient and comfortable option for those exploring this historic site.

This hotel is great. Hosts are helpfull and rooms are very clean. There is also free parking spot behind the hotel, so your car is safe. And the hotel is just 5 min walking from main entry to Petra. We also got a present from our hosts. You can buy a lunchbox for 8JD (2 fruit, 2 sendwich, juice, water, muffin). We really highly recomended this hotel for every one.

Very friendly and attentive staff who offered helpful suggestions upon arrival. The room was nice, modern and clean, and it appears improvements are continuing to be made. Breakfast was outstanding and the location made for an easy walk into the city center for dinner and into Petra for hiking. Would 100% recommend.

What a lovely stay ! Ideal location (10min walk to the visitor center), people are very hospitable& kind. rooms were clean and comfortable size, (decor wise nothing special). We chose to have breakfast and dinner at the hotel, lovely buffet with many options. If you decide to stay there, don't forget to watch the sunset from the rooftop. Beautiful view.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel, the young fellas at the receptionist desk were very helpful.

The rooms are dated, however, clean and comfortable with aircon.

It’s about a 5 minute walk down hill to the visitor centre.

We stayed there in spring and were really enchanted. The girl at the reception was so welcoming and friendly and gave us a lot of informations. She also organized the taxi to enter at the backside of Petra which was a perfect idea because we didn’t have to do the 800 steps to access to the monastery 2 times. Hotel is very close located as for town and the sight to visit. Rooms are simple but clean and bed was really good. Very nice rooftop.

Everything was very good, the location, the service and the staff. They always check if everything is ok with you or if you need anything. The accommodation is simple and comfortable. In the checkin they offered the Lunch box for the tour to Petra that was very well served and the breakfast starts at 6am what is very helpful for the ones who want to start the tour as early as possible - important to mention that they had a good breakfast with options of fruits, omelet, bread, pancakes, not hundreds of options but the most important: all tasty and fresh to prepare you for a day of walking.

Everything was great there, from staff to rooms and localisation. Staff was so helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and cozy with balcony with amazing view. Nearby lots of restaurants and stores, so close to the Petra Visitor Centre. Definitely recommend :)

We enjoyed our stay at the Petra Corner Hotel. It is super close to the Petra visitor center…. About a 10 minute walk. It’s nice to be able to walk because it’s not always easy to find a parking spot at the visitor center. The breakfast was great and the people that work there are very nice. We were very happy with our room…would stay there again!

This hotel is amazing! The best in Petra. Excelent location and staff. The food and breakfast is delicious. The rooms clean and spacious. It has a beautiful terrace. Very near Petra. And it has beautiful decoration 😊

Most wonderful staff!! Had the most lovely time here. A lovely terrace with a brilliant view. Very close to Petra. Mado was particularly welcoming to us all.

Friendliest staff I have ever met in any hotel. The room is well equipped, comfy bed, great view to the city from the balcony. Breakfast was good, and plenty. Petra entrance is 5 minutes on foot. The manager gave us great tips not just about Petra, but for the following steps on our journey around Jordan.

Must stay at Petra. The staff is super kind and helpful. It’s a 3m walk from the main site. They have a cute restaurant for dinner. The breakfast was delicious (try the omelette). The rooms were very clean and organized. At one point I lost my passport and was freaking out because I left it in the lobby and the owner had it in the front for me. They even gave me a beautiful birthday gift.

If you’re staying in Petra this is wonderful. I was traveling with my friend on a girls trip and we were very happy with our decision.

We ve stayed in Petra Corner hotel for one night. The room was very spacious and clean, breakfast was really good and the hotel staff was very kind and gave us all the information we needed. Especially Abdul was very kinfld and even gave us a present when we left.

We will definitely come back!

Great location for walking down to Petra. Note that Google Streetview shows an older hotel in it's place still! Just about enough parking although a little tight.

Nice modern room and bathroom although a little cramped with 4 beds. Lovely rooftop terrace to spend a bit of time relaxing in your free time. Bar wasn't open yet but meant we could take our own snacks up and had it to ourselves!

The 8 JD packed lunches were enough for 2 people (2 rolls, 2 drinks, cake, dates and 2 x fruit). Or restaurants down the road offer packed lunches for 4 JD.

Buffer dinner worked well on arrival, they charged 12 JD for adults and 6 for the kids. Was A la Carte the next night but we went to another restaurant we'd eyed up on the way back from Petra.

Nice hotel close from Petra Visitor Center (a few hundred meters).
Has private parking so no need to go by car to Petra.
Staff is kind and helpful and the owner very nice. We even got a farewell present. Also, because we wanted to depart before breakfast time he made us some snacks.
Room is spacious and in bathroom there is plenty of hot water anytime.
AC work well.
However, when temperatures will rise it would be of great help to be able to keep it running also when you are not in the room 😉
