Jerash University is a private university located in the Jerash Governorate - Al Rashayda on Irbid-Amman International Road, 40 kilometers north of Amman.
It was established in 1992 and teaching began in 1993
A university that provides the community with many specializations, and is distinguished by the ease with which the administration and the faculty interact with students according to their needs, and is the most secure Jordanian university with transportation.
And taught according to the American system - the credit hour system (two compulsory semesters and one optional summer semester)
It has nearly 5,000 students and nearly 200 faculty members.

Among its disadvantages is the large number of quarrels that take place between university students. It is said that this phenomenon has begun to recede in light of the disciplinary penalties that deterrent students against fabricating problems.
And there is no student council
Another negativity is the university's lack of interest in the aesthetics and welfare elements of students.
جامعة جرش هي جامعة خاصة تقع في محافظة جرش - الرشايدة على طريق اربد عمان الدولي ، 40 كيلو متر شمال مدينة عمان .
تأسست عام 1992 وبدأ التدريس فيها سنة 1993
جامعة ترفد المجتمع بكثير من التخصصات ، وتتميز بسهولة تعامل الإدارة والهيئة التدريسية مع الطلاب حسب احتياجاتهم ، وتعد أكثر جامعة أردنية مواصلاتها مؤمنة .
وتدرس حسب النظام الأمريكي - نظام الساعات المعتمدة ( فصلين دراسيين إجباريين وفصل دراسي صيفي اختياري )
فيها ما يقارب 5000 طالب وما يقارب 200 عضو هيئة تدريس .
من ايجابياتها سهولة التدريس والمرونة في التعامل
ومن سيئاتها كثرة المشاجرات التي تحصل بين طلبة الجامعة والحق يقال ان هذه الظاهرة بدأت بالانحسار في ظل العقوبات التأديبية الرادعة بحق الطلبة المفتعلين للمشاكل .
وليس فيها مجلس طلبة
من السلبيات أيضا عدم اهتمام الجامعة بالمناظر الجمالية وعناصر الرفاهية للطلاب .

Great University, for those whom can't afford high level of bill rate. Not expensive, corporate education staff.
