Lovely place to be in the heart of Nature 🌳
The staff are friendly and zealous!
I went with a friend, and we took the small trail, so beautiful and informative, well maintained and indicated, easy and enjoyable between the oak trees and Greek strawberries trees, amazing landscape... Also what makes it great is that there are a lot of shaded areas! This trail can be done alone, no need for a guide. It is suitable for a family with young age children 🥾🥾.
The contribution fees are:
2.5 JD for Jordanians
8 JD for foreigners
Or you can end your wonderful small hike at the restaurant and enjoy the food, drinks, scenery, fresh breeze, so you don't have to pay the entrance fees.
Oh and the toilets are remarkably extraordinarily clean!

The Ajloun Forest Reserve Trail transforms into a breathtaking landscape during the winter, especially just after a refreshing rain. The air is crisp, carrying the earthy scent of damp soil and pine. The trail weaves through ancient woodlands, where the vibrant greenery glistens with raindrops, creating a mesmerizing tapestry of nature's hues.

As you traverse the path, the sound of your footsteps is accompanied by the gentle symphony of droplets falling from leaves. The after-rain silence is interrupted only by the occasional chirping of birds, adding a serene soundtrack to your journey. The wet ground beneath your boots provides a firm grip, making the hike both invigorating and safe.

The bare trees, adorned with droplets resembling nature's jewels, stand as sentinels of resilience. Occasionally, rays of sunlight pierce through the thick canopy, casting enchanting shadows on the trail. The air is filled with a renewed sense of life and vitality, as if the forest has been awakened by the touch of rain.

Beautiful forests in the middle of picturesque nature and imaginary atmospheres, there is a walk inside the reserve, several paths starting from 2 kilometers and there are restaurant services, bathrooms and a simple market, you can also sleep inside the wooden cottages.

Loved the restaurant with a picturesque vista & beautiful fresh breeze. Great food & excellent friendly service....highly recommend it. The gift shop is also nice & has diverse memorabilia gift items....Great job Ajloun Reserve & RSCN

Nice place .. we went to have breakfast .. good , little bit over priced ..better to go early as it is crowded at noon time during weekend .

Amazing place to stay and enjoy the natural atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have different types of accommodations, cozy and clean. The food in the restaurant is delicious, and made by locals, especially the cheese and the bread. Prices are good, and the location is good also, and close to many other attractions in Ajloun. Highly recommended 👌

Cabinets are comfortable, we had wonderful view. The staff are very very helpful and kind. You can do zip lining and book trails. And have a delicious dinner in the academy restaurant.
I will absolutely go there again and enjoy the beauty of the nature.

A beautiful and large forest reserve. When we arrived it was pouring with rain but we still decided to hike one of the trails. I definitely want to visit this place again when it's sunny. We did encounter some beautiful flora and fauna during our soaking wet hike. You'll be staying in wooden cabins that also include their own gas heaters which was perfect after a sweaty and soaking hike. It is indeed beautiful but I definitely need to visit again to get the proper experience. At dinner we were treated to what can only be described as a meal for a king, there was so much delicious food to try.

One of the last preserved areas in Northern Jordan. The reserve has a wide range of offerings that makes a visit worthy of the trip. This includes the cabins, trails, restaurant and the bird hide. One of my favorite places to visit especially since I know that by supporting the reserve I’m supporting wildlife in Jordan.

An amazing please to relax and have friends and family time the whole atmosphere is just relaxing and stress free .

The nature of the place is just amazing and very "greeny" , the views are amazing and the place is breezy and cold especially at sunset and sunrise .

Would definitely recommend the place for anyone who wants to have some solo time or time with closed ones.

Nice Forest Reserve which is located in the Ajloun highlands north of Amman and covers 13 square kilometers. It is dominated by open woodlands of Evergreen Oak, Pine, Carob, Wild Pistachio and Wild Strawberry trees.

Nice place to visit during summer and enjoy cool breez weather, there is nice restaurant for the royal academy where you can enjoy nice view and walk around the building to see the soup and biscuits outlet

Out of the city.. Every body need to take a break. In Ajloun Forest reserve this is atchivable once you step there. The slient green life will clean you inside out. A morrning walk / hiking along a narrow passage throught the green forest for one hour or more is amazing for nature lovers specially the beginners.
It is safe and lovely with great views.

We stayed for one night in August and we all (2 adults and 2 kids) had a wonderful time. The walking trails were wonderful ways to explore nature and all the different types of trees. The house of soap and the house of biscuits were also fun to visit. Their restaurant offers great food with a lovely view. The cabins were comfotable and the little terrace was a great spot to watch the sun rise over the reserve. Ajloun castle is only 20 min away by car. All in all a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend

Best escape to nature

Stunning forest. It seems like notalot of tourists come here, at least in November. We were pressed for time so we only did the 1hr roe deer trail. Sadly we didn't see any but there many tracks so they are definitely out there. If you come I would recommend you go as early in the morning as possible.

I really enjoyed this place. It’s so calm and relaxing. The restaurant there have some delicious traditional dishes and it’s just so comforting to walk through the forest and between aging trees. I recommend this place to everyone interested in visiting it. One last thing, the people there were very generous and welcoming.

Hospitable service with great trails and views. A great retreat to getaway from the businesses of Amman. It's a lot warmer than in the city so dress appropriately.
