From our two experiences. One for passport renewal and another to add members to the family book. The staff were helpful and kind. We normally try and go right as they open. The timing is 8:30 not 8 as posted.

The website of the Civil Status Department does not contain correct information
My experience is summarized by issuing a civil status identity to a family member for the first time. The website states that an adult family member accepts his testimony and upon submission, my certificate was rejected except with the testimony of one of the parents.

إجراءات السلامة الخاصة بوباء كورونا ضمن توجيهات قانون الدفاع غير مطبقة! عدد كبير من المراجعين غير ملتزم بالكمامة! أغلب الموظفين لا يرتدون الكمامة. ما زال إجراء أخذ البصمات لإصدار الهويات قائما باستخدام نفس الجهاز لكل المراجعين دون تنظيفه أو تعقيمه بعد كل مستخدم.
عدم توفر طرق دفع بالبطاقات البنكية.
