Zaid Tours and Travel

My mom and I had a wonderful experience with Zaid Tours last week. We only had a few days in Jordan and a lot that we wanted to see, and they went above and beyond driving us all over and making sure we were able to check everything off our list. We had the most amazing day at Petra - so amazing in fact, that we were running quite late for our tour at Wadi Rum that afternoon. Luckily our guide Ramuni worked with our Wadi Rum 4x4 driver to reschedule for the morning so we didn’t miss anything. We felt like we were in very good hands with him. He taught us so much about the area and culture. It was great to be with someone who takes so much pride in their home and wants to share it with others.

Booked a day trip from Amman to palestine..Jerusalem and Bethlehem. To be truthful, was worried about how this company is going to handle it. My contact person was a young lady named Safinaz..she was very helpful, walked me thru the process from A to Z. Our pick up driver Ayman Fraihat was at the pick up location on time, treated us like family...called his contact Saleh at the crossing point and urged him to take care of us and he did. Once we got a cross our driver Vector was waiting for us , we started a wonderful journey, then we picked our amazing guide Martin Hanthal...a native of Bethlehem ...we couldn't ask for a better guide, fluent in English as we requested, extremely knowledgeable of all the religious sights , was very patient with us , showed us all we wanted to see and then some. Then they got us back a cross to Jordan and our driver Ayman was waiting fir us there...enjoyed the trip back from the crossing point to our house...bought us a gooooood cup of coffee...what an amazing experience.

We had the best experience with Zaid Tours. Our guide/ driver Mahoud spoke fluent English, was very punctual, and very knowledgeable of the places of our tour. He was very helpful, a safe driver and had a comfortable and clean car. My husband and I highly recommend Mahmoud as a guide and Zaid tours who put us in good hotels with breakfast and dinners during our stay in Zordan.

We booked this tour back in Feb and about a month before our trip, the airline we used changed the dates of our arrival/departure. We were devastated as we thought we wont be able to make this tour anymore as it starts on Sunday and finishes on Sunday. We have contacted Zaid Tours and they were really very helpful in rearranging everything for us to fit our new dates. They were responding to all our questions within few hours.

On the arrival we were welcomed by one of the Zaid Tours employees who had our visas ready for us to ensure smooth passage though immigration.

Our guide Firas was waiting for us outside and on the way to the hotel he explained our itinerary for the first day. He is so far THE BEST guide we had on all of our travels. He was very informative, answered all our questions with very good sense of humor. We were a group of 6 people - 3 different nationalities & had a great banter. Firas made sure there was not a silent moment in the car & atmosphere was always good.
By end of the every day he would explain our itinerary for the next day and made sure we are happy with it.

I would highly recommend to do Petra at Night & add 2 extra hours to jeep tour in Wadi Rum. We had an amazing local guide Abdullah who showed us the best spots for pics and made a yummy tea in the middle of the desert.
We have also upgraded our stay in Wadi Rum to a Martian Dome which was an incredible experience.

The only downside would be the variety of food in the hotels & when we stayed in Petra Corner hotel there was no water for the entire morning.

I will definitely recommend Zaid Tours & specially Firas as a guide to everyone.

Everything was great from the email enquiry,quotation till we went home.Lina was very professional in handling our enquiries.Price was competitive .The representative who handled our VOA was waiting for us at the airport.A welcome sight on a foreign land.The driver with us for the week ,Firas,was good..friendly chap who spoke good English .Hotels were all up to our expectations.Only complaint was the top up of 15 JOD each to upgrade our 2hr- wadi rum jeep tour to 4 hours.That's a bit costly as I saw many sites selling a 4hr tour for 65- 70JOD per jeep.There were 5 of us ,so we actually topped up 75 JOD for the extra 2 hours..very expensive .
Other than that,Jordan is safe to travel to even with the on -going war.People are friendly.Go visit.

You must ask for Omar!! Professional, safe, reliable driver! Driving in Jordan can be difficult. Omar was super safe, cautious and very courteous to other drivers. He was extremely knowledgeable. He really helped in our understanding of the history and culture of Jordan. Nothing he didn't know and he knows all the great places to see, eat and get souvenirs. Can't say enough good things about him. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time with Zaid operated tour package. They were very professional from enquiry to final disembarkment stage. The driver assigned to the tour, Ahmed was a nice guy, able to communicate in English, behave like a partner in the tour, maintained the time, and friendly all the time. Ms. Lina and Ms.Zaid were very prompt in replies and guiding us. Happy to recommend them for those who are interested in Jordan/Petra visits.

What an experience. Loved our 7 day tour of Jordan. Made that much more enjoyable by our driver & guide Basel Nazzal. His network and knowledge, reliability, humour and willingness to go beyond to please was so unexpected and appreciated. We found the people of Jordan so lovely and caring.

We travelled with Zaid tours in May 2023. They organised 6 nights tour from Dead Sea to Akaba and back to Amman. They did a good job with organising, communication, accommodation etc. Cost was higher than few others; but services were good. Our driver, Mahmoud Issa was extremely good, caring and helpful; also punctual and well informed. Thank you Mahmoud.

I was very lucky to find this agency! From the beginning they were VERY friendly and helpful, and provided all the information I needed. They prepared my visa within 2 days and even helped me book great accommodation at a cheaper price. I highly recommend this agency, and I will be using it for all my future flights. Really recommend this agency. Ahmad, our driver, was very polite and professional.
It took 45minutes to get to Jerash from Amman but seemed like 5minuted with him chatting about Jordan culture. He also gave us some precious recommendations about things to do and how to organize our days in the country. He also made himself available for anything giving us his telephone number. 5stars

We recently came back from The Best of Jordan Tour - 8Days/7Nights and it was amazing! I couldn’t recommend this tour enough - it had everything and more🤩 our tour guide Mahmoud was brilliant - he was so friendly and informative, and he always let us know everything about our different options/alternative add-ons to ensure our trip was the best it could possibly be! He really did make the trip truly special and we’re so glad to have had him with us on our trip🥰

If you’re contemplating a trip to Jordan - DO IT! It doesn’t disappoint✨

Hats off to Zaid tours for organizing this one day excursion (lots of logistics) and for being responsive both via email and phone (was always able to reach a helpful Zaid agent anytime before and during the trip).

Let me first start off by saying that this Jerusalem day tour is best suited for tourists with a specific set of goals:
1. Tourists who like to move quickly and maximize what they can see with limited time
2. Tourists who set up a base in Jordan (e.g., to see Petra) and don’t have time to spend more than a day in Israel
3. Tourists who want a brief taste of Israeli and Palestinian life and are okay following up in the future as needed for in depth visits (e.g., Tel Aviv)

All three of these goals were true for us, and therefore the day tour offered by Zaid travel was exactly what we expected and they delivered on all fronts. It’s not cheap, but for us it was absolutely worth it since we likely won’t be able to return to this area for the next few years.

A few additional comments:
+ Jordan side driver was fantastic for pickup and dropoff in both directions
+ Israeli side driver was good as well, and made sure we got where we needed to go in time
+ Our guide (Khalid) was Palestinian and wasn’t the best at explaining information in Jerusalem. He would read the signs out loud slowly verbatim (which we could read ourselves in half the time). He was much better in Bethlehem and to his credit he did make sure we hit all the stops we wanted to see in the short period we had available (including Dome of the Rock which has specific visit windows)
+ Try to be first off the shuttle on the way back across the border to preempt the mad dash for passports when you return to the Jordanian side
+ Border crossing timing and hours can vary widely, be prepared for everything to slow down tremendously after 18:30p. Just as an example, Jordan—> Israel took us about 2-2.5h total to cross, Israel —> Jordan took about 1-1.5h total arriving at the Israeli crossing entrance at 18:00 (both times gate to gate). Another couple who arrived at the Israeli gate after us (at ~18:30) spent 3h crossing back instead
+ You’ll likely need JOD cash for shuttles and Jordan exit fee. Israeli NIS exit fee could be paid with credit card

My wife and I did a 5 day tour with Zaid Tours to Jordan in December 2015. Our driver, Shadi was superb. He was very punctual, kind, and knowledgeable. He helped shape the tour of Jordan to minimize travel times, and maximize time seeing the incredible sights of this beautiful country.

I highly recommend using Zaid Tours to any visit to Amman and the must see destinations around Jordan. I hope one day we can return to Jordan, and if so, we'd be looking at Zaid to develop an itinerary to once again maximize our time in Jordan.

It was great trip. Hasan was so helpful . we have been treated me and my wife as family ,will never forget this trip .Jordan is very beautiful country and it has historical landmarks I do recommend it to everyone
