Snack House Restaurant

On our vacation to jordan we also visited Petra, of couse. After an exhausting day full of walking in the sun, the Snack House was our first choice to have dinner - and we were not disappointed! We came back also the next 2 days and be it just about meeting the friendly guys at this restaurant again. The homemade souce for burgers, chicken and french fries is so amazing, that we also took one portion for our little lunch at the Monestary.
Such a nice and always smiling staff, so delicious food for that little price and such a special hospitality is not a matter of course - thanks for everything!

Delicious and affordable shawarma. The owners are really nice and friendly. We came here 3 times in 2 days so def would recommend for locals and tourists!

Amazing dishes. Very friendly owner. Shared his own internet to help out. After ordering I asked about a local product and the owner went out of his way to be helpful. Calling on his friends to provide an answer.

Food was delicious. They have something similar to the Dutch kapsalon. That was very good. The Shoarma is nothing like you are used to. It was served as an upmarket bite.

Some nice fast food. You can also quickly pick up some sandwich that you can take on your trip to Petra..
(And the olives we got for tasting when we returned the second day were super delicious!)

Nice place! Ordered chicken burger meal. It was great, also burger was wide, not high to contain more ingredients, that's very cool.

Absolutely amazing! Great food and friendly service! After several weeks traveling, we were looking for some good American food and drove by this place and saw locals standing outside so we knew we were in the right place. We were so happy we did that we ate here again the very next day. The menu is in Arabic but they were happy to translate it into English for us! The service, shawarma wraps, burgers and fries brought us back but we also tried the smothered fries and chicken that was in their special sauce and it was great. We also tried the pita chips and they were awesome!

I tried shawarma and it was really delicious, boyfriend has something from menu like fried chicken, really good too! kind staff. Recommend.

We had a long day after visiting Petra were looking for some international cuisine.
The food at snack house was very good, and the service excellent. The owner was very warm and welcoming.

Literally amazing! I'm an American, from Kentucky, and throughout my time abroad I've been absolutely craving some good ol' American food. On the quest for decent fries, I found this gem of a place.

It's a bit of a hole in the wall restaurant. Doesn't have much seating, and the menu is in Arabic only (that's how you know it's good). It really strikes you as a local place.

Sitting outside, you can see the cooks through a window. You can really see the care and special attention they put towards their food -- they check the fries as they cook them, making sure they are absolutely perfect, they discard bad pieces of shawarma in favor of better ones... You can tell that they love what they do and only want to make you happy.

I have high standards for American food, and needless to say this place exceeded those standards. The burgers were great, some of the best I've had, and the fries were exceptional. Their chicken fries are high-tier stuff, I highly recommend them.

Overall, great place, very clean, reasonably priced, and you can tell that the workers really care about what they do. Highly recommend eating here!

Ate there last Saturday and have to say that the food was super tasty. Plus there's an amazing atmosphere going on and they were helpful on what to choose. Recommended!

I visit this restaurant and i try the burger in the first day it was delicious and tasty the second day i go there again and i try the burger and shawerma it was very very nice food i like it not expensive restaurant good price service very fast and cool i like this place I recommend everyone to go there and try the food good luck guys ❤✌🏻
